Kinda sad to see this drone being tormented badly. The same time comforting to see it survived. I have bought it a few days ago and I am excited about its range and low noise! I have owned several DJI drones, phantom 3, 4, Mavic Pro, M2P, Spark and Mavic Air. The Mini 2 features an excellent range, nice Camera and low noise! A big pro. I have sold all my other DJI drones, except the M2P and the Mini 2. I would buy the Mini 2 again.
The title should be Mini 2 durability test. 10/10.💯

This eases my mind. I'm new to drones and only have 2 flights so far. I feel like I'm going to break something just folding it up
this is very comforting, I crashed exact drone after flying it for the 4th time, i got disoriented with the controls LOL
it crashed to the wall, one of the blade has a tear, and still working so fine

@@KNETWORK100 hahahaha. My Mini2 died few months ago, it crashed in to the trees and feel directly to the river. :( right now, it still starts and then the blades spins so fast, and when it lift of about 2-3 feet, suddenly shuts off...
You still can repair your drone by yourself when it get damage by water. Just fill the container with the rice and put the dji inside rice and lock the container and wait for about 1week then drone will be complety dry and working fine @@DidzYbanez
Wow very durable indeed, I accidently crashed our mini 2 into a wall yesterday, minor scuffs, but your video puts me at ease that it can tolerate a lot more.

The reason that the drone stops its props in lots of these tests is a safety feature to stop it from cutting peoples fingers
Yea, its proppely annoying. If you even clip a thin branch it collapses like it's been hit by a train.
That's a bummer. I bought it for the sole purpose of cutting people's fingers.
Very top your video! I'm from Brazil and I just bought a mini 2 and the concern here is great due to the value at which it is sold here (8 minimum wages). So very important to know his resistance.

Just got a Mini 2 the other day, had a minor crash into the side of the house and landed on the concrete driveway, just a light scratch and replacing 3 of the propellers, but seems fine otherwise. I was kind of worried but after watching this video I think I'll be just fine lol.

just had my first crash with the mini 2.Going up at full throttle and hit an electricity cable.My drone fell down 2 m but remained airborne and flew 15 more mins until i landed it.Really resistant drone!
My 2.5 y.o son accidentally caught me watching this video and join me. He laughed a lot and was very excited and joyful watching these experiments.

I flew my DJI mini 2 drone in -40F to -45F cold temperatures and it handled it just nicely, in case you were wondering. I am in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
I am in calgary. Just you know, this drone will be quickly drain you battery in cold weather and reduce your battery cycle. Just remember to make battery warm enough with hovering for 2~4 minutes before you actually starts to fly in cold weather

It’s because the drone rotated too much. The same happens when people grab the drone and flip it to turn it off.

@Tom Brok Unless the wind completely flips it over somehow, it should not turn off mid-flight.
@Tom Brok I think it's very unlikely. More likely it will reach maximum tilt and it will be carried away by wind. But I've seen drone wobbling like crazy over the sharp hilltop in gust wind so I believe it can happen in some strong vortexes / turbulence.

I know i'm a bit late, but the reason why the drone stopped sometimes it's because the mini 2 has a security system that stops everything if it's too much on an angle

You need to fly it up to 200’… sport mode… hammer it forward… put control down and walk away… come back in a half hour and see if it returned home…

There is reason for the the drone being under released weight.
There is a reason DJI made the batteries ports are compatible with Mavic Mini and the Mini 2.
There is a reason that DJI included a payload function buried in the control menu.
DJI will be releasing accessories that connect through the battery port.
Why the battery port ? To maintain its forward facing flight profile to reduce any drag.
Just looking at the back of the drone gives me that idea of connections being added this way.
What will be the first accessory?
I believe that DJI left almost 10 grams off the 250 gram weight class of the Mini 2 to be able to add a slimmed down forward facing object avoidance system that flips up like an antenna. So it it stills fits in the same bag.
Yes it will weight less than 10 grams just because DJI can do technological magic.
But expect to spend over $100 for this accessory.
So being that the batteries ports are compatible, the Mavic Mini will be able to use this accessory as well but be slightly over weight unfortunately. Unless you but the mini 2 batteries.
