The clever thing here is that he got a lot of views and its done with no coding because he does mention he coded but this is like clickbait as it doesn't require coding knowledge as others have commented as its using the GB Studio game engine.Real commercial GB games,like Mario 1 or Tetris,, ,are made in assembly language only. Games made with GB Studio are not allowed for sale last time I read.

Never before have I witnessed Jay go so deep and openly share his thoughts and childhood with us and going above and beyond to create a game for a modern Gameboy. The message at the end hits hard too, because it’s so true. This man was brought up in a good way and has helped people, made good fun for us constantly, and created good memories. This video hit home hard, I find myself reminiscing on the “good old times” of when I’d be up late, playing cod with all my friends, or some moments at school with friends, but, in all honesty I was suffering horribly, I was incredibly depressed and just didn’t want to be here, didn’t think I’d even see 18, and now I’m 23, I have an incredible job that I absolutely love and I’m earning good money, I have actual physical friends and not just ones online, and in general my life is just going really well. Im exactly where I wished I could have been back then and yet im sitting here wishing I could go back in time… well, until I watched this video, im not usually one to comment on videos but thank you Jay, I needed this
Not going to lie.. me being 29 watching this and just listening to Jay talk about the past and nostalgia got me all emotional man. He’s right though! Life is so short, you people who are a lot younger than me cherish everything you have or people around you because as soon when you get older life changes so much, a lot of the time I wish I could be younger again.
The message you like, embedded into the video itself is beautiful man. I don’t think we actually miss our childhood as a whole, we just miss those select moments from it all. Or when you miss an ex you don’t actually miss the person, you miss the memory of that person and reflect on the happy memories as a defensive mechanism for the hurt you go through… as a channel tgf has helped me through things such as trauma or depression because when I’d have a bad day at school or felt neglected I would, and still do, watch a TGF video or similar. Mainly because you actually are down to earth and haven’t changed as you’ve grown, like you’re still humble in yourself and not many RUclipsrs are like that which makes videos more relatable and fun to watch… thankyou for all the videos you put out and the effort you put into them. Jay this is a truly beautiful video. TGF has always been a form of comfort to me and in some ways falls into that nostalgic realm of the 'good old days' when I was a teenager. There have been times when I miss the old crazy content because it was an escape for me but that was simply to remove myself from the negativity going on throughout my teenage years. After hearing your perspective on Nostalgia it got me thinking. If I was to go back to those moments of popcorn machine cars and seeing you jet ski through my home town, sure I may laugh but it doesn't compare to the emotion that I felt throughout this video. The quality of content that you have been producing is absolutely incredible and seeing the enlightenment you bring to others through your hard work and technical skills is inspiring. As a recently graduated graphic design student I have felt lost not knowing whether my work would ever impact anybody but after seeing someone put their heart and soul into a project that makes people happy I now see a light at the end of the tunnel. This video hit home hard, I find myself reminiscing on the “good old times” of when I’d be up late, playing cod with all my friends, or some moments at school with friends, but, in all honesty I was suffering horribly, I was incredibly depressed and just didn’t want to be here, didn’t think I’d even see 18, and now I’m 23, I have an incredible job that I absolutely love and I’m earning good money, I have actual physical friends and not just ones online, and in general my life is just going really well. Im exactly where I wished I could have been back then and yet im sitting here wishing I could go back in time… well, until I watched this video, im not usually one to comment on videos but thank you Jay, I needed this
Not going to lie.. me being 29 watching this and just listening to Jay talk about the past and nostalgia got me all emotional man. He’s right though! Life is so short, you people who are a lot younger than me cherish everything you have or people around you because as soon when you get older life changes so much, a lot of the time I wish I could be younger again.
The message you like, embedded into the video itself is beautiful man. I don’t think we actually miss our childhood as a whole, we just miss those select moments from it all. Or when you miss an ex you don’t actually miss the person, you miss the memory of that person and reflect on the happy memories as a defensive mechanism for the hurt you go through… as a channel tgf has helped me through things such as trauma or depression because when I’d have a bad day at school or felt neglected I would, and still do, watch a TGF video or similar. Jay this is a truly beautiful video. TGF has always been a form of comfort to me and in some ways falls into that nostalgic realm of the 'good old days' when I was a teenager. There have been times when I miss the old crazy content because it was an escape for me but that was simply to remove myself from the negativity going on throughout my teenage years. After hearing your perspective on Nostalgia it got me thinking. If I was to go back to those moments of popcorn machine cars and seeing you jet ski through my home town, sure I may laugh but it doesn't compare to the emotion that I felt throughout this video. The quality of content that you have been producing is absolutely incredible and seeing the enlightenment you bring to others through your hard work and technical skills is inspiring. As a recently graduated graphic design student I have felt lost not knowing whether my work would ever impact anybody but after seeing someone put their heart and soul into a project that makes people happy I now see a light at the end of the tunnel.
