screens are not fully vr full screen but like computer screens in front ofcourse if you play pcvr games they go in full screen. I hope that answers your question
well if you buy it on quest then it would make no sense normally to play it on airlink since you can play it directly on your headset. Some games have cross buy and cross play but that depends from game to game. But mostly for pcvr games that you bought on steam those you can play through steamlink on your quest. I do not own any Wifi 6 routers and my PC is not wired to the router, as I am always using it through Wi-Fi. Would I be able to play games wirelessly without any issues with those internet speeds on wifi? Download 126.2 Mb/s, Upload 97.1 Mb/s, Ping 13ms, Jitter 0.8ms Also, I would like to mention that I am looking to play games where I have to move a lot like Arizona Sunshine 2, Blade & Sorcery and so on. What do I do when Air Link is sending a signal to my PC but doesn’t show me my screen even tho it says connected and active? I’ve had this problem for 4 days and the only things I have come to is either not supported graphics card (lower than recommended 😅) or that Air Link doesn’t work for my quest 3
it should work just first make sure your headset and computer are updated try to completely shut of your computer and headset and try all the steps again if not then try steam link or virtual desktop but it should work normally and also make sure you have a good and strong internet connection.
Steam link is an amazing free software... but it is VERY dark and needs a few performance updates (running at less resolution than virtual desktop on godlike more I get 30 frames less.)

It differs from game to game but since nomad is a different version I think the chance is high it is not cross buy. I am not sure though please let me know if you managed?

@@VRelity correct. Ive got a pc with 4090/5900x, but i Work from home and am on the PC a lot, and it impedes his access. Whenever he’s got his Q3 plugged in, it causes there to be a window of what he’s seeing in VR on my screen (which i don’t want or need), making it impossible to use the desktop. And windows also forces audio to be set to his virtual speakers for him to hear anything, or him to hear nothing if i set my audio back to my normal output channel. I dont wanna spend the money on building another PC for him to use with VR, and even if we did, it wouldnt be another 4090 and it would be an expensive downgrade for him. Basically i’m trying to understand a way to have the PC run the VR software for the Q3 in the background of my desktop so he gets his gaming needs, and i can still use my desktop at the same time. I dont understand why the PC side software has to be displayed. i dont even understand how thats resource efficient on the GPU/CPU even if someone wasn’t using the desktop (why render the visuals of a headset on a screen for useless fps waste?). I can’t find any info on this, for what seems like a straight forward situation.
I see the problem. I tried to recreate it myself aswel and you are right. But the problem will be difficult to solve since most software won't allow for it to be changed at all. Your question also makes a lot of sense since it is kinda useless to have it on the pc screen while you inside vr anyways besides for people that wanna record their video. So the options only options besides getting a new pc is try to maybe hook up another monitor and see if that solve it (I don't have two monitors so I cant confirm this but I think this might work atleast for giving you acces to do stuff on your pc). I wish I could give you a better solution but sadly I cant sorry

Unfortunately, i have a connection problem with the VD app. I install windows again, I restart the quest 3 and reinstalling the vd app on Quest 3 and the pc, but whatever I do, the vd app can't find my pc, the app problem suddenly start 1 week ago, before that I easily connect to my computer without any problem. I also don't add any app or change anything to my pc. Also, the Steam link app and air link app are working without problem, and I use them right now for my pc vr gaming. This is really ridiculous for the paid app to have this kind of problem.
mhhh that does sounds strange especially since the other options still work. Is there perhaps a setting or update you changed in your computer that you missed ? besides that i am not sure what else could cause this.

One time, VD connects very fast, and other time, whatever i do, i can't connect to myVD app on my pc, also the strange thing about it is that i can easily connect to the air link and steam link without any problem. And no, i don't change or add anything to my pc. 🤔
@VRelity I find the solution، I must first let the app check for validation of my purchase before I can connect to pc via the VD app. For some reason, this validation is not working, and I stuck to the first screen that says you can't connect to the VD app on pc. I used VPN, and I bypassed the validation, and now the app is working fine. This is a one-time thing, and you don't want to validate again until you hard reset the headset. 😃

Just bought Virtual Desktop and everything seems to work flawlessly so far, including starting Steam VR games, with one not so minor caveat - I can't get my Quest 3 controllers working once a Steam game has started. I guess I am missing something, but I can't figure out what. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Mhhh that is interesting perhaps you have the handtracking feature on instate of controllers so check that in your settings otherwise make sure your headset is updated and your controllers fully charged and already connected before jumping into it. Let me know if you managed to fix it?

So this is a little of topic but I just found out you can use airlink from your laptop/PC if you have a wifi 6 card installed. You need to turn wifi hotspot on through your laptop network settings. I travel a lot for work and don't have the luxury of dragging a router around as well as laptop and headset. As with everything that seems simple it took a good deal of f***ING around but it worked eventually. Happy gaming
Man my internet is garbage! It keeps saying “host is connected wirelessly” and then tells me to restart but yet when I connect my Ethernet cord it says it can’t find the headset? I’m so lost

I have tried all 3 and, consistently, have better luck with Virtual Desktop, games just run buttery smooth with it.

If your compression is looking bad it's usually bad wifi, is your streaming PC wired as well?
