This man is a legend, literally makes videos on all subjects WITH pictures and good explanations and very easy to understand WHILE BEING very informative
trust me this vid is all you need to understand what is going on with photosynthesis when you get there, my teacher couldnt make us understand the same content in 2 separate lectures NJEGNJGNJE
I don't think the video said this (at least I didn't catch it), but during the conversion of the 5G3P back into 3RuBP, it requires the usage of 3ATP -> 3ADP to receive the phosphate group - this is what makes the net count 9 ATP and not 6 ATP.
your videos are carrying me through university, and also calming me down and making me remember how great and exciting it can be to learn :) thanks 4 ur uploads!!
I am studying AP biology. AP chemistry AP maths and AP physics. And all my studying is from The organic chemistry tutor. If I get straight A’s I dedicated it to you
Thank you for posting biology-related topics on your channel. I've been having a difficult time in AP Biology and thought back to the times when I used your Algebra 2 videos over the summer. You're a great teacher and helpful when reviewing topics learned. I plan on watching these videos and hopefully I'll be able to improve my grades
For anyone stumbling about with this specific part; it's 9 ATP/ADP in the summary due to 6 ATP/ADP forming during reduction and 3 ATP/ADP during regeneration.
I have used your videos for my math and biology class. Thank you for the way you explain the material, i makes way more sense than just reading from a book.
Thank you bro, I don’t think I would have passed this quiz without you. 8th grade honors bio is probably the hardest class I’ve even taken because the teacher is not so good. She’s chill but not great at teaching. You break down everything in a way where I can actually understand what’s going on. Once again thank you 🙏
Thank you sooo much. I’ve been confused with this topic for a while now. My ap bio teacher confuses me more, and I end up more lost, but you make it so much easier to understand!!
I haven't any word on this amazing experience. You can teach. 4 subjects effectively but our professor are couldn't teach one of those perfectly you're our hero tnx a lot Gob bless you and your family.
Here’s some topics that I would love more videos of plz 1 .Solving cosec secant and cotan. Trig 2 hard logarithms 3 physics derivations. 4. The central nervous system 5 homeostasis. I would greatly appreciate it. And thank you.
I was literally bulling my eyes out bc I thought I would fail not understanding the independent and dependent reactions I feel so much more confident may god bless you

Omg omg omg so I had class test today and I had no energy yesterday to read my textbook and I watched this video and I'm scoring pretty good marks thank you sm♡

You are a real life safer of all times!! ... I always watch ur videos whenever something confuses me and always u clear my doubts for good am happy that u r here and i got to know this channel... Thank u veryyyy much!!🙏🙏 keep it up!!
Few days ago I was studying cellular respiration and you uploaded that video and right now I have just completed photosynthesis again you uploaded this video. What is exactly happening? 😂😂
Currently watching the chain rule for calc 1. He describes the problems perfectly. I just wish my teacher would give me similar type of problems on the test.
around 17:37 you said to just double all the numbers so wouldn't 6NADP+ turn into 12NADP+ or would it stay the same? And you said in the calvin cycle a total of 9 ATP is used but when you were walking through the process indetail you said only 6ATP is used not 9. That part was a little confusing can you clear it up please?
he made a mistake, I came here to check too but upon further research it would be 12 NaDP + and also the extra 3 ATP generated is because in the last step of the cycle ( where you go from G3P back to RuBP) it takes the energy of 3 ATP to make that transformation... so then its the 6 ATP from the dephosphorylation + the three used at the end. Hope that helps!!
So, 3 molecules of CO2 go in at the same time? Or is it one at a time? My notes say that it’s takes 6 turns of the cycle to make 2 G3P-> 1 glucose molecule.
Hi! I just wanna make some corrections regarding the usage of bisphosphate and biphosphate terms : Generally, biphosphate = H2PO4- bisphosphate = two phosphates covalently bonded to, say, a carbon Thus, it should be Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate and 1,3-bisphosphoglycerate Nevertheless, great video!
In the electron transport chain it takes two H2O to produce 2NADPH, but in the Calvin cycle it requires 12 NADPH. If it takes one water to make one NADPH why doesn't the formula call for 12H2O? What happened to the other 6 H2O?
