Some parts were sad until they embraced who they were and live their life but when they didn't take chances and just felt sorry for themselves it was sad but as they tried they slowly got better and happier

He has always been my favorite character. He's development is admirable. And he's so talented too.
That whole bit with his mom’s frozen food always hits super hard- because I’m also one of those people where what seems like something small all of a sudden blows the dam on a whole lot of feelings.

Sheldon is the only character who got pretty nice family in childhood .. if you compare howard or lenord .. they are normal being traumatized childhood made them awkward .. akways Sheldon make fun of him but howard had achieved a lot he was a astronauts parents of 2 kids. he done it alone where Sheldon always helped by others so many people to help he was the guy always mean to others

I am genuinely not okay after seeing this video putting Howard in an entirely different light, years after moving on from the show. I really, really never paid much attention to the character himself, the weight he had on his shoulders, the insecurities he had and low self-esteem.. it was all there, and it was all so well written, but I could never perceive it that way because the show set the mood in a way that just makes you expect the next laugh. This is an incredibly insightful and well made video?? It's amazing to see a tribute like this, it genuinely blew my mind. Thank you.

i mean... yeah. He was the biggest punching bag of the entire show. No-father-figure issues, school bullying trauma, being a bit "weird" and thus most females finding him repulsive constantly, endless jokes from sheldon about what he does, many crippling emotional damage issues, went to space only to be once again a punching bag, made feel insignificant on an almost daily basis, mother, whom he was extremely attached to due to father abandonment issues dies much earlier than he expected etc etc etc i mean comedic show or not, even through the 90hours of laughtrack they stuffed into each episode you could see that this guy has a hard life

When it comes to friends, I think Raj and Howard are the closest and not Sheldon and Leonard. One Duo was always happy to be around with each other, and the other mostly fought a lot

I wished we saw Howard go to therapy, he’s still holding on to his anger and confusion over his dad leaving, Howard’s dad is the real loser he’s son went to space and married the women who made him a better man. Howard has lived one hell of a life.

Howard was creepy at first but when you learn about him and his past u can understand him better. And I loved him better than the other guys. Bernedette saw him for who he really is someone who is romantic and sweet and kind and caring.

Howard has the best character development on the whole series... From a creepy nerd yet brilliant in his field to an astronaut to a loving and caring husband, father and son. He found the love ❤️of his life!!

In all honesty Howard really did have it roughest in the show and its inspiring how even though we had all that happened in his life. He prevailed and was able to make something of him self. He's a top engineer, has good freinds and family and he event went to space and above all else he found someone who he could share his life with. Its pretty inspiring.

I feel pretty bad for him except for the first situation. It was necessary to hear what Penny said to him. He did harass many girls, his behavoir was not acceptable and needed to be stopped. He didn't take no for an answer so he needed that call.
Maybe not the no woman would ever flirted with her , but he needed to hear, stop being a perv, it not ok
His mysoginistic behaviour was not allowed, but penny helped him with that. So thank god for his development
Whenever I hear the part where Penny tells Howard he’s going to grow old and die alone, it really hurts because I was told that once before by someone, it was always mean to me
No one deserves to be told that ever.
And I’m glad as a series progress, he was able to become a better person. It was all because of his friends and his wife Bernadette.
That ending really hit hard for me. Burning that letter and that photo, was him letting go. Finally letting go of his trauma and that constant “what if” if his father had stayed. Letting go and moving forward.

@@xsapphirex136 yes i think the same too. It was uncomfortable watching his character in the first few seasons bcs he was really a creep especially to Penny. I did feel bad for him when Penny called him out and was being quite harsh to him but it's the ugly truth that he deserved. Love his character development tho and sometimes felt bad for him when Sheldon didn't take his job seriously.
I agree telling him he’ll die alone was prob a bit mean but it was what he needed to hear. His development is great and probably the best out of all the other characters

The writers are pretty great. He deserved it when Penny told him off but we still felt bad for him.

I know it's horrible but having traumas doesn't excuse your creepy, unwanted, disrespectful behaviour towards women.
Having said that, I think Howard had.a great development as a character and TBBT is a great show.
I’m glad he turned into a good man but I’m not going to pretend like he wasn’t extremely problematic for a while there, not to mention creepy and misogynistic.
Again I’m glad it got better but those earlier seasons are difficult to rewatch with him acting like such a sleaze & I know he had a rough childhood, but so did I & a lot of people and we didn’t act the way he did or be as gross as he chose to be.

He had a lot of stuff going on that was really heartbreaking, but I gotta say, the first clip, when Penny tells him off, that wasn't traumatizing him. That was... honestly pretty deserved, at the time. He sexually harassed every woman, but especially Penny, for a long time, every time he talked to them. He refused to take no for an answer, continuing to sexually harass when he was told to stop. He deserved to be told off, and he needed it. Someone had to get through to him, since he didn't respect any woman enough to listen to them otherwise.

Howard had the greatest character development throughout the entirety of the show, i cannot believe near the end i straight up sat down and said it out loud how much i love howard. I LOVE how big bang theory focussed on each and every character making them so humane like that. It broke my heart to see this bcs really deserves the best.

The show only wants us to see that he is attention-seeking, but in reality, we'd never think to see Howard Wolowitz of all the people in their friend group to be the most insecure. He has endured more than most of us can imagine, but I soppose what the creators might be saying to us is "keep trying", because no matter what life throws at you, you have to keep moving. Even if the person who gave you memories, becomes a memory. Feel so sorry for Howard right now 😔

Me first time watching tbbt as a teenager 10-15 years ago didn’t like Howard, I thought he was too “greasy”. Now after going through something in my life and simply just know better, he is my favorite character, he grows so much he is actually so smart. And I’m a mechanical engineer just like him! And he is actually kind of cute hehehehe😉

My favorite moment of Howard was the episode in S7 (if I remember correctly) where he just returned from space and kept reminding everyone around him of his space travel. When asked the reason for this annoyance by Bernadette, he said "if I stop talking about it, I'm just plain old Howard Wolowitz again." That plot really struck me.

I think Howard is one of the most relatable TV characters I have ever seen
I really wish we had seen what Howard’s mother looked like or the contents of the letter from Howard’s dad, but it looks like we won’t ever know.
