Pitty we can't open this lock with nfc capability on android phone. Or can we?
It doesn't work with NFC, but it does work with Bluetooth and the Yale app.
@@keylock unfortunately bt takes way too long to use in this case and would be much quicker just to use ordinary key.
@@piotrlobacz You can open the lock with the following methods: Key Card, Key Tag, Phone Tag & App.
One of them might suit your needs
A shame it doesn't cause this type of door to auto lock when someone leaves the house, so not ideal for a HMO situation or actually being able to make sure the door is locked remotely at all! Bit useless if you still need to rely on people manually locking the door every time. It would be nice if, in case someone does forget to push the handle up when they leave, that the handle simply disengages so that someone without a key can't enter despite the door not being properly locked. Unimpressed.
Hashterix you might want to look into it further , I think I’ve seen modules that you place in them to allow certain features such as Remote unlocking and locking as well as giving people temp keys to enter you’re house etc.. I’ve also heard it auto locks but I think you’ll need the modules, have a look online and see what you can find, am considering buying one and I’ve seen a few things regarding them.
