I am trying this product out too. The note says if your car is extremely dirty it's best to rinse with a strong stream of water. This product is more of a touch up between washes or if it rains. In my opinion it don't replace a car wash.
You can't beat the price per oz for a waterless car wash with some shine. However all the detailer love goes to Ice.it's nice to see you not only pull off a streak free application but also get away with it in the sun no less.
Might be an amateurish question but I'm an amateur anyways when it comes to cars. Have you tried splashing the car with a bucket of war first, so it's not totally dry before applying? Wonder if it makes a difference with the easiness and the result. That would solve my problem of not having a hose, no water supply in my garage alley, and I wouldn't be breaking any rules in California.
I personally have not tried, if you decide to do that make sure it’s not in direct sunlight because you will risk getting water spots and sometime they can be hard to take off. So I would recommend doing it in the coolest part of the day. But with this product you don’t need water. If your looking for a rinse less wash I would recommend WOLFGANG CONCOURS SERIES Uber Rinse Less Wash you use a bucket of water with solution and a couple of microfiber towels. I have a video on it as well. hope this helps.
@@Autofusionchannel Thanks a lot for the quick reply and suggestion. I will but the Wolfgang sometime in the future. Yes, I'm planning to do this close to dusk, and it's very hot in LA anyways. I have the x-rain waterless for now so I'll experiment with it. Many thanks.
It will remove water spots that are from after washing but not water spots that have been on the vehicle for a long time. Chemical guys has a great water spot remover. As for towels I would not recommend anything lower then a microfiber towel with 320 gsm. Chemical guys has some pretty good towels as we as The Rag company. Kirkland microfiber fiber towels are good as well they are not as pricey they sell them at coast co and Amazon.
Lift up the windshield wipers blaids. Rain-X water repellent on the windshield back windshield outside mirrors driver side window passenger side windows wipe it until you see a glaze then use Rain-X Spot Free and strictly free Shine car wash then you apply the Rain-X spray and wipe afterwards rinse off your vehicle then blow it off. Your vehicle will be so smooth. That is the way I do it, and it works very well.
Rain X is a great product, but it is so much cheaper to make your own waterless car wash. Find a soap that you like and add it to Distilled water. YOu have your own waterless. Save money.
Zerah Yisrael waterless washes do not contain soap. But they do contain lubricants ,which is safe for your vehicle. Applying a soapy water solution and then wiping with a towel is not safe you risk leaving soap residue which can eventually damage the vehicles paint.
Hey have you applied this in direct sunlight yet cuz I just bought a bottle and it's fairly sunny here in San Diego California it's still a little overcast but I was going to try it out but at the same time I was hoping that you'd made the indirect sunlight video thanks again for the great video
Carson Mckurtis on the silver car I didn’t have any problems, but with darker color cars I did have issues with streaking. If you can wait till it’s alittle cooler in the evening or in a shaded area if possible.
Anytime somebody does a product review without cleaning the car free from older wax or other products, the review is never going to show you the real deal. Period. That said, Rain X isn't horrible, it works, but you're not going to see it working in this video.
N English true since this video I have tried it on my civic that hadn’t been waxed and it worked great. Still think this is a great product for the price and is widely accessible.Really great for people who may have water restrictions. Thank you for watching and I appreciate your feedback.
@@Autofusionchannel Yup, I like it too, It's not as thick as Ultraluster, but it is not as watery as some others that are basically detail sprays repackaged. I really like that it can go all over, including glass, with no issues.
I'm debating whether this would be any easier to apply and wipe off than just Ice Spray Wax (improved formula) on a dusty car. Actually I'm glad to see this go over an already waxed car since that would be my scenario too.I would mainly used this to avoid the car wash during our dry but dusty midyear season (in rainy season when road spray is prevalent it's time for a water wash - I can deal with light to medium dust but I'm not ready to skip a traditional wash for road grime).

@@naj2698 your most welcome👍👍
I use this to wash the car after a strong rain when the dirt is loosened up a bit
Werent you supposed to apply, let it work a couple of minutes and then remove?
If is cool you can wait a minute or so but it’s best to not let the product dry on your vehicle.
Will this remove water spots instantly? Also what towel is best when using?
