Exactly what I thought, you can use a respected brand rinseless wash on a car like this if you do a good flush with a pump sprayer or preferably just rinse it down with pressure washer. You don’t use waterless on pure sand. That demo says a lot about the company - in particular - TO AVOID
water-less car wash usually lifts a lot of things that's harder than sand and makes it super easy to let the towels catch them. that's something water wont do.

Masterson’s waterless wash and shine is insane. I haven’t tried Masterson’s waterless wash and shine yet, but I am curious about it. In the end, I don’t think using Masterson’s waterless wash and shine is as effective as soap and water. Have you ever tried Masterson’s waterless wash and shine before?
I haven't tried Masterson's Waterless Wash & Shine but I'm wondering if Masterson's Waterless Wash & Shine requires Masterson's Microfiber Towels or if Masterson's Waterless Wash & Shine will work with non-Masterson's Microfiber Towels. Maybe the boys at Masterson's can fill us in about Masterson's Microfiber Towels and Masterson's Waterless Wash & Shine?
I'm no expert but I would do all the crevices with a brush and then do the rest after. I am trying to figure out if I could wash a caked in mud car with two cloths and waterless wash.
It DOES leave fine scratches on the finish. It’s ridiculous think it’s not going to....you are dragging the dirt and harshness off the paint which is where the damage to clear coat happens. Because of the wax/polish agents you don’t notice it immediately as it’s being hidden but as the polish wears away (particularly on a black or dark car) you will see swirl or haziness on the paint.....and that’s the reason this product has never really taken off as this technology has been around since atleast mid 1990’s. Is it useless? No, if you live somewhere where water use is very restrictive, if you aren’t particularly concerned about micro scratches in your paint, if you have a silver or white car that typically don’t show much of any imperfections, or if you use it as more of a dust remover than an alternative to actually washing a dirty car it has its benefits.
To save on water you know you can use a pump pressure spray bottle filled with water. You could collect rain water in a tank, purify it and the use it in a 8 litre pressure sprayer. No electric just recyclable water. Spray car down first.
used nearly 2 towels just on the boot of the car, my perfectionism wants me to hose in and around the tail lights and gaps where the rest of the grime is sitting taunting me
It scratches. Don't believe this waterless wash hype. It's bs. I think you'd be amazed to see the scratches, marring. A liquid simply cannot protect/ encapsulate the dirt enough to not scratch esp with any type of pressure to the rag bring used. The best way is at minimum a two bucket method, and air or premium microfiber dry. The only real way to not scratch is to not touch.
It can. Like any other wash. Whenever you touch the car it has a chance of scratching. A touchless was is only way to you wash your car without scratches. But it leaves some dirt behind
I don't understand why you wouldn't just wash the car with soap and water, it's definitely not due to cold weather. The only application for a waterless wash is for a car that's kept in the garage and has minimal dust or light dirt, not a car that's covered in filth. You said this car is constantly driven off road and getting dirty on it all the time, so what's the point of not just using a hose, soap, and proper wash technique?
