I bought the Smoking Barrels pack and I'm in love with M1, it's an amazing weapon and i carry it with me every time. And also, i loved the gun with the giant reload time, it's not too practical, but the animation is so cool.
All the weapon packs come in handy at some point. The 30-06, M1 and .303 are all great guns for the class 4-8 animals. I use the .303 British in real life, so I'm partial to it in the game. Another great guide from Lady ! A+++
The fact that this game does not give you the atv from the start is criminal. These maps are huge and it used to take forever to get anywhere before i picked it up. I think that may be the #1 DLC imo
Very good selection. I would actually recommend buying COTW for around 5 euros (instead of 20) at a bargain price and just trying out the game for a while.
30-.06 is such a great gun because it is so versatile! Takes out all mid range game in one shot. But lately I have been on a bow hunting spree. A good arrow shot is worth x3 mediocre gun shots. Been droppin em' like bird pies.
I couldn't hunt at night without the hi tech pack, maybe that could have been in the list instead of Yukon & have Yukon in a video about weapons from maps. I think everyone is hoping you'll do a maps best to worst or a what we're hoping for this year video. Great as always, Happy new year 🎉

One thing to note on the dogs, be sure of what fur pattern you want before you click on any of them because you can not change it once you click it. I made that mistake and now have a dog color I don't care for but am unwilling to spend 45,000. On another dog.
I thinkI have all the dlc s and weapons and think every pack has great options .New 308 is the best all rounder but as the ammo is free for .243 I'll use that whenever viable Also love the air rifle and drilling rifle and covers you from 2 to 9 so grab a 22 and every class is covered

Hhmm I have the bloodhound myself as well. But I find that I stash him away more than I actually use him. I find the dog sadly distracting by causing sound around me, while I use my ears while hunting alot. As well as him regularly get in the way of shots or scaring away game. Altough it could be because I am doing Hirschfelden right now, and the concealment and sound seems to be a bit glitchy on the map right now.
The dog is no good for bowhunting or concealed hunting but my Great One Grind would take 10x longer without my dog, especially since I'm hunting at night.

You get one of each for free then they are $16,000 each. I place my tents 250 away from the zone. If you are trying to place your tent without spooking animals in the zone, then we tested it on plains bison. They spooked at 350 meters but did not from 375 meters. Hope that helps.
Another interesting video, Lady. Personally I think the bloodhounds are almost pointless, although they may be useful for new players who don't make good shots. I also don't like the idea of getting weapon DLCs straight away. Although it was challenging I think it's rewarding to work up from the .243 to .270 to 7mm before trying the better guns. For a future video I'd really like to see your rankings of all the reserves from best to worst. I'm really interested to see where Mississippi ranks. Keep up the great work!
Hey Ian! I actually made that video today! It’ll be out tomorrow! I like the bloodhounds. I take some bad shots shooting red deer with the night vision scope and trying to take 6 at once. I can’t even find the ones that drop without the dog 😂

I use soft points for almost everything, because they are cheaper XD And they do kill well enough for me,but I might move to polymer tips later when I'll be wealthier.

Yukon Valley is broken AF right now/still I tried re-buying it to try again a few days ago and it made my game run like absolute doodoo ass. I know others have had the same issue. At least i can play it on multiplayer no issues 😂😂
The first 1 or 2 of each variation come for free with the DLC. I have the DLC so long, I didn't remember that. But after that, they're $16,000 each and you will be buying A LOT!

There’s a shooting range bottom right corner in hirschfelden. If you’re on pc, dlcs can be bought through steam store or there’s a new dlc store. For Xbox, there’s a store there as well

imagine i watched the vi for the first time then after an hour i went to buy the packs looked quickly back at the vid and saw 'weapon pack 2' and bought it when in the vid you say weapon pack 3 worst fail yet never trusting the youtube slider thing again with the titles 🥲 i was so confused bc the weapon pack 2 is totally different and i was like wth is that weapon wheres my air rifle
the thing that put's me off the 30-06 rifle is that it has the lowest capacity at 4 rounds yet it is the heaviest if the sporting rifles at 4.5 all the others have a capacity of 5 and a weight of 3.5

You need to order the dog with the B key. Make him sit or lay down when you need him silent.
My must have would be the high tech pack, then smoking barrels and blood hound at 2 and 3. But that's me and how I play :)

Some people like them. But I always use polymers myself. So I wouldn’t know.

I think it might be glitched. Hopefully will be fixed with the update later this month
