I was stuck on this too - you actually need to look for "Track Matte" in the Modes column, instead of the "Parent & Link" column. Right click anywhere in the timeline header area > Columns > Modes. "Track Matte" should show up, and then just do what you were trying to do from there instead of the P&L column.

When im trying to parent reflection to bubbles nothing happens:/ Am i doing something wrong?
