The Chicago Bears have played plenty of “must-win” games against Matthew Stafford. While it’d be too cliche (and blatantly incorrect) to say none are bigger than the one on Sunday, the Bears would really, really like to have this one.
Returning back home after a two game losing streak - a skid where the offensive line was exposed, play calling was ripped to shreds, and the Bears looked like….well, the Bears, Chicago would really like to snag a win and break even through the first month of the season.
On the other side, the Rams are just as hungry. Fresh off a vintage Stafford comeback against the 49ers, the Rams roll into Chicago with the same 1-2 mark as the Bears. Don’t let their identical records fool you, however. These two teams are very, very different.
