Tiki Carving #1 - Behind the Scenes

About a year ago, I carved a tiki for a class assignment. It ended up being a fun project, so I made this new one to use as some tropical pool decor.
Some softwood tree had fallen over near the house, so I cut a couple tiki-sized chunks out, and I'll probably make another later this summer.

Genius!!! I saved some skirt palm stumps intending to carve them into tikis but didn't quite know how to... You are the FIRST person I've seen actually doing so!

I don’t think Ryobi makes that anymore. Automach makes the best one.
