- About a year ago, I carved a tiki for a class assignment. It ended up being a fun project, so I made this new one to use as some tropical pool decor.
Some softwood tree had fallen over near the house, so I cut a couple tiki-sized chunks out, and I'll probably make another later this summer.
Genius!!! I saved some skirt palm stumps intending to carve them into tikis but didn't quite know how to... You are the FIRST person I've seen actually doing so!
Looks really good but didnt show it hardly at the end. It was hidden behind things.
Awesome work! Might swap out the wheel of death for a 8 inch canon carving bar with chainsaw...
Wish i could find out what type.of stain and paint was used and the color name.
woow beautiful, what sort of wood is this?
Amazing skills …
I just might give this a try when
I get settled In .
This is certainly something that
brings peace of mind no matter
If it’s not as perfect as yours .
I might start off with a cut log
to start ,
Thank you for sharing .
That looks bad ass good work
What's that Ryobi tool? At first I thought Dremel, but nope... Ryobi.
GREAT WORK BTW.
I don’t think Ryobi makes that anymore. Automach makes the best one.
Hey bro have you thought about maybe using a router along with the grinder etc
Great stuff, what sort of wood is this?
cool! what kind of disk was that used on your angle grinder?
Thanks Cori! It's a chainsaw disc by King Arthur's Tools
What model of electric chiseler did you use?
