What’s everyone got in their bag!? What did I miss that should be in mine?
Chris Hau been waiting forEVER for the A7s3!! But right now rocking the A7riii and the A7iii.
Chris - question about the 100 to 400. I had that for a while and sold it and use the 70 - 200 2.8 with the 2x multiplier. I know it is slightly less sharp but its a more versitile for me (plus the 2.8 when not using the multiplier is a nice light improvement for live shows. Does that make sense to you?

I've got a 6D Mark II, T2i, with 85/50mm 1.8's, a 28-135, and an 18-55 (all Canon). 6D battery grip, Rode Mic Go, extra batteries, camera straps, gorillapod attachments, tripod attachments, the occasional snack, a polarizing filter, and a multitool knife is my bag.

A length of paracord works really well on stuck filters. Wrap it around and pinch the ends of, similar to that wrench. I just keep a loop on my filter case.
Airplane mode, my favourite feature on my phone. It just stops the phone from being phone and makes is perfect. 😂

Sony has put the A7SIII on hold because they used up all the sensors in the Sony Vision S car.
I'm hanging on for the A74. Giving it till April the end of my financial year.
Can I recommend a rim light on the right side (for us) left for you (hehe) I think that would be amazing with that tone in the bg and main light.

Thanks, I agree with your comments about Sony marketing and the continuing hype about new gear. The A series seems to be continually changing and whilst the new feature are cool, the basic photographer is not going to use the full range of options that a full time photographer/videographer would use. Like mobile phone, manufacturers, digital camera makers seem to alway be looking for away to up or cross sell people on the newest product.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper care, mishandling, misuse, alteration, or accidental damage; nor does it cover the natural breakdown of materials that occurs after extended use (i.e. zipper wear, fabric abrasion, etc.). In time, even a Lowepro bag will wear out!
Even if 50years they don't cover too much.
Hence the *. I've heard multiple stories on what they cover and don't cover.
I'm a new photographer and saving up for a better camera to improve my work. Should I go with the A7Riii, A7iii or wait for that A7Siii?

A7iii (got it myself) best hybrid camera out there, actually it's overpowered (so latest upgrades are not worth enough to switch)
If your a new photographer the most important piece of equipment is your computer, if you dont have a computer that can easily cull and edit than your wasting a ton of time. It also makes it harder to learn and practice if your constantly waiting for your photoshop/lightroom to update.
After that its your monitor, if your workflow isn't calibrated to look consistent across all platforms than your wasting a ton of time going back and forth to check the consistency.
After those two things are taken care of its deciding whether you like shooting fashion/car/landscape/portraits. This will determine what lens you need.
Finally, its the camera....if you are good on all of the 3 things listed above here than get the a7riii. If you aren't good on any of the above 3 then go with the a7iii.

Honestly - any choice is good (but also the A7s iii doesn't exist yet) So I would personally go A7Riii. You'll be stoked on the A7iii too. Lizzie uses it.

Thanks for the clap! 👏😂I had no idea that a filter removal tool exists. Used to bang with my nail around the filter to make it somehow loose. 😬I just bought around two weeks ago via Aliexpress a bunch of velcro cable ties in different variations. I am the same about nice clean organized stuff. Fun and great video, thank you, Chris!

Literally the FIRST thing i do when I get a new cable for something with a velcro tie is cut the tie off. IMO they look untidy, and I always coil the cables neatly and organise them in lil pouches so the tie doesn't really do much for me anyway.

Hey Chris, just asking about the macbook pro 16" 2016. How was the performance in video editing in 4k? Is it still okay for you in editing and rendering your videos in 2020? For sure macbook pro 16" 2019 would be perform far more better than the 2016 without doubt.
