The fact that you included no weapon upgrades takes this to a whole new level of insane. I just finished doing some damage testing on quality builds and while it turns out that scaling from levels is way less important than most think, weapon *upgrades* are absurdly important - right up there with maxed P-Organ upgrades and BiS Amulets. And you can't even equip those amulets because your Capacity is base! Never been much of a speedrun fan before but found myself enjoying your recent ones anyway. I am sure as a creator it's nerve-wracking to branch out into new formats, so I want to say I love the idea of mixing in challenge run. Gratz and good luck in the future!
Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, this is definitely the hardest run I've done of this game so far. In speedruns and most other challenge runs you're able to get absurdly powerful and bosses are cakewalks.
This format is even better than the full streams if I miss anything good. Plus the challenge compared to speed run is much more entertaining, as far as your interactions go. You seemed to have more fun in this than any of your live streams for speed runs that I've seen
dude this new format is great.... another type of video you could do that I think people would enjoy is beating the game with every boss weapon. It could be in new game plus if the weapon isn't attainable early.
Absolutely love this video, there's not a ton of content for challenges like these (as in commentated/edited videos) so this could be a cool niche. Also really impressive run
The lax electric train fury block while sprinting. The music on swamp monster. The intro.. dude this whole video is awesome! Congrats on the run, terrific vid 👏 👌 if you do this deathless, I'll cosplay as Pucinella on stream
What a beast, I'm doing a Lv1 only parries run but upgrading weapons and P-organ. I'm on the green swamp monster and after like 100+ hours and more the 2000+ deaths i think. I take off my hat, truly an Incredible display of ability and Knowledge.
I have a bunch of ideas for future videos, this was more of a test run to see if it would receive positive feedback, and it clearly is well liked so far. I will be doing both formats, maybe see which one does better!
I haven't taken RUclips super seriously till just recently. Had a big popoff video in 2023, and Lies of P has been pretty huge, looking forward to keeping the ball rolling this year
Lies of P truly is the hardest soulslike period All the posers that go around saying "omg the game is so easy" definitely cheesed through most encounters
You can make it as easy, or hard on yourself as you like. Some weapon combinations are stupidly overpowered, and if you go out of your way to get all the quartz you can get the best upgrades very quickly. That, plus the fact that summons are ridiculously strong, and how strong you can get by leveling up, and alot of bosses have been nerfed all contribute. This challenge was alot of fun because none of that mattered, no leveling means no health or no damage; no throwables meant melee only, and no summons meant the boss was constantly aggro'd on me.
Thank you for the feedback, I still will regularly be uploading my speedrun PB's to RUclips, but I think my goal for this year is to get onto a more consistent upload schedule with a nice balance of these style videos, aswell as my normal content
I was just talking about this with my chat the other day, if there were more paths to take, routing these types of challenges would be cooler. Can't wait for DLC!
@@Blanxz yes, it could have been more epic like elden ring. It just that they more lore to do that. Hopefully they explore much more for the next installment
Hey, love the vids! Just a little recommendation; if you are going to add extra music, please turn off or edit-out the in game music. It's hard to listen to them simultaneously.
Now that I've finished watching it, I want to say it's a great video, but you can feel it's not a format you normally upload. I liked it, enjoyed it, solid 7/10. Below is some feedback, if this is not welcome, then feel free to ignore it c: Overall the way of editing this video comes across more as a highlight reel for the stream than its own format of content. A few factors that emphasize this: Between Andreus and BRB everything is cut. We don't even see you pick up the Acid Spear that you use for a fair few fights. You also cut directly into the 2nd attempt at BRB so we miss out on you even approaching the fight or thoughts about it for the challenge. In general a lot of the traversal is cut, which I can understand for the length of the video, but it's included better in the latter half of the video. Other things we don't see, is you picking up is the circular saw, we just suddenly see you using it on the jester puppet. You talk about the Two Dragon Sword, but we never see you pick up Alidoro early on. Our first sight of him when you're buying amulets. And even after Swamp Thing we only see you run from him, we don't even see you buying the sword. From a story telling and narrative perspective, the youtube viewer misses out on a lot of small things, such as how you actually approach bosses/tackling them etc. This can be remedied by showing you pick up certain weapons/buying abrasives/putting weapons together or how you upgrade your P Organ with the Quartz you get. These events might seem unimportant compared to showing off the fun challenging boss fights, but for a youtube audience it helps to create a pacing and through-line in the challenge. Above are just a few examples of these, I'd have to go through the full video again and potentially vods to give more detailed examples, since I didn't watch the stream, but I hope it gives you an idea of what I'm getting at. Keep up the good content though!
The early game was way too boring to include in the final cut, I think the pacing is fine tbh. I was even considering skipping entire boss fights/areas because it gets interesting later on and wouldn't want viewers to sit through 30 minutes of early game. I do still appreciate the feedback! It's nice to have an extra set of eyes, and some constructive criticism. I just think for this run, I was a little bored for the first half of it, which is a me problem anyway. I wasn't feeling very inspired by the content before Rosa Isabelle
The hardest soulslike? Have you ever played sekiro? don't get me wrong i love this game but i thing is really really too easy. Specially the zone between bosses. Very easy and lot of shortcuts to make it more easy too
You activated P-Organ run invalid (This is a joke, good run, but it does leave room for a more impressive and challenging run to be done in the future)
p organ just makes it more fun, 3 fable bars and no rising/link dodge just makes the game feel clunky without adding a significant or meaningful challenge
These are so fun. Jesus Christ loves you, he has a plan and a purpose for your life, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jesus loves you : )
I tried to do a lvl 1 run but I got stuck at Romeo, crazy to see people be able to do stuff like this.
I love this new format, looking forward to see more challenges
This is my goal for 2024, I want to put out more content like this. Really proud of how it came out!

This is the kind of content I browse youtube for. I'm only 1 minute in but I know I'll love it.
Hope you enjoy 😊

That is definitely a possibility, I like that idea
This format is pretty damn great! can't wait to see what other challenges you have in mind :D
Would love to see more runs like this!!
I've been thinking of a few ideas, this is only the start!
I like this type of content while speedrunning is cool it's to see your skills be applied outside of a speedrun🙂
Great! I'm glad you enjoyed. I plan on making more like it in 2024.
amazing shit bro keep making more me personally i would love more lies of P content.
Great video as always wrench senpai

Sheesh! Gotta get on that then. We NEED the Pucinella cosplay
Love the Hades music background
Yo! BLANXZ! I love this form of video. Its also good to be able to watch full runs

Awesome job with the new format 👏 👏👏👏
Appreciate that 😏
Souls Senpai never fails to impress me.
😳😳
I really liked the change from the original speed run videos forma
I have a bunch of ideas for future videos, this was more of a test run to see if it would receive positive feedback, and it clearly is well liked so far. I will be doing both formats, maybe see which one does better!
ur so cool, best souls/soulslike streamer right now
Appreciate that, hope to continue to provide great content for you guys!
Was just binging your previous record videos yesterday thinking how good your skills would translate to this format of video. Please keep it up ❤
Thanks!! Appreciate it!!!!
This is the video that finally convinced me to sub. Great work
Wait a sec, how do you have only 2,97k subs. You deserve a lot more. Nice content as always. Keep it up!
I haven't taken RUclips super seriously till just recently. Had a big popoff video in 2023, and Lies of P has been pretty huge, looking forward to keeping the ball rolling this year
Really good video! I hope to see more content like this from you in the future!
Bro love it! I would love to see a few challenge runs interspersed with your speedruns! Sick video man!
Appreciate it!!! Thanks for watching
Lies of P truly is the hardest soulslike period
All the posers that go around saying "omg the game is so easy" definitely cheesed through most encounters
Even trying to cheese them I wanna punt my controller through the fucking wall😭

Just not upgrading character is tough. I’m on Manus for that run. Pass on the no lvl weapons lol
Yeah, definitely a much more complete experience in my opinion, especially as someone who runs this game regularly.
Nice man, love your speed runs and this is a nice new direction. Best of luck.
Thank you for the feedback, I still will regularly be uploading my speedrun PB's to RUclips, but I think my goal for this year is to get onto a more consistent upload schedule with a nice balance of these style videos, aswell as my normal content
Love this game. Hope it sustains the cult following like Bloodborne did
nice run gg
hell yea brother
I love the fact that you said 3.5 hours lol. Lax is def the hardest for no lvl
Lol, yeah I didn't expect it to be too much longer than a glitchless speedrun, but the Arcade, BRB2, and Nameless really put me to the test.
subbed finally for the challenge runs, my brain has some evil ideas for our collective torture
lmao not the bass boosted footslam 10:56
Great vid! Excited for more
I'm glad you enjoyed!!
I have no idea how you first tried door guardian..but that was super impressive
Thank you for the content. Looking forward to seeing more!
Sick run dude
Holy crap, what a challenge! Gg
We need to think of a better way to nerf this guy. I can’t believe this wasn’t even a little bit of a struggle
haha, this one definitely put me to the test, but sub 100 deaths isn't bad for how difficult this was!
developer who develop this game are genius. if this game build like open world, that would be more awesome
I was just talking about this with my chat the other day, if there were more paths to take, routing these types of challenges would be cooler. Can't wait for DLC!

No hate, but I loved watching you die to the shovel golem 😂
😠 I was comboing his ass till he rudely did an undodgeable
Why is quartz not considered an upgrade?
Now beat the game with a heavy P
Next challenge : beat lies of p no level up using mouse n keyboard only.

Thank you!!
Is it really the hardest soulslike you've ever played?

What about new game++ level 1 run
A bit clickbaity considering you're upgrading your p-organ, but still impressive nonetheless.

It's not hardest challenge. Look at mine: I'm doing this no damage, without spectre, throwables, leveling up, upgrading weapons & legion arm & p-organ.
That's cool, are you also counting deaths & using a timer?
@@Blanxz No, I'm not . So what? It's no hard to kill boss quickly with throwables & overpowered character.
You were the boss of this game )))
