One of the only games I can fall asleep playing. I absolutely love this game after a long day at work
Because it's made with patience, love and care, unlike most other games these games. ATS + ETS are both amazing!
I get home from driving for a living to play ATS. It is such a joy to get to drive a variety of trucks and trailers in a part of the country where I don't live.
I'm a truck driver and I legitimately enjoy it lmao
I'm not a truck driver and I legitimately enjoy it lol
@@Sithhy nice
I used to be a truck driver but I know a person who still is, and I know a few who want to be as well as some who hate the idea of it. And they ALL enjoy that damn game, uncanny :D
I built my first PC just to play One game! and got a Logitech Steering wheel and shifter combo! Great Game!
As a former trucker, I can say ATS offers many of the best parts of trucking (driving, backing, running a sweet rig) without the worst parts (waiting in line at a fuel island, truck stop parking lots that smell like piss, working 16 hours a day, stepping around random bags of trucker poop, racists on the cb radio, being covered in road grime and not having time to shower, completely screwing up your sleep schedule to get a load delivered on time, finding time to do taxes while still driving 11 hours a day, hurting yourself while chaining and tarping, insufficient access to parking and restrooms, etc etc etc). I will say much of the flavor of American trucking comes from the hilarious and amazing people I met in truck stops, shippers, and random outings in the many cities I visited, which is missed. ATS shows us what it would be like to be a truck driver living in a near perfect world, and I think that's pretty cool.
Nice Video Truk ❤
You took me way back when you showed road rash
I was looking for this comment. When I saw road rash I couldn't belive it XD. What a game.
@@putridplatypus8736 the only ways you can play it now are if you either install XP or you can get it running on Nobara Linux or SteamOS
5:57 well said
I'm still torn between ATS and ETS2
My favorite pc game, I play it every day.
Last time I checked they didn't add New York nor snow
Based off the west coast
Scs are currently working east however
Colorado doesnt have snow.....
Why is he treating it like there are multiple ATS's
You can't get inside a truck unless your playing in VR in the game. Add surround sound and a Buttkicker you feel it too, Awesomeness.
I have not once experienced snow.
You can add it through mods
I love this game
I’ve owned it from day one but unfortunately it’s relatively the same game from its initial release. We could definitely use more dept
"Most successful projects", yet we have lack of customized dlc for the trucks for ATS unlike ETS2, which has DLC Tuning packs for all there manufacturer trucks in the game expect there newer model's. Don't get me wrong but, I like the game but we need more than a DLC tuning pack for the Kenworth -W900
I'm driving real truck, I never played the game I'm seeing it the first time, can you get float gears. I remember why I went to school 15 years ago someone asked me if they simulator like aircrafts. I said no I just put you in and make you double clutch all day
You can float gears with the right hardware and settings.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 more popular. But i playing 50/50 ATS and ETS2. And no yet New-York in game.
When did they put New York in ATS???
never, they're working from west to east
The Coast To Coast mod does that. It's not as detailed as the SCS stuff but if you really want that feeling of driving really long distances, then the Coast To Coast mod is fun.
@@rockerbuck967true, but coast to coast is really crappy, and most places are just copied and pasted
is this game on ps5 or do we only get really bad versions?
Ets2 is 100 times more famous
nobody cares
LOL, i play both. But I play ATS aLOT more. 😁
Both are equally good
@@endingtasks8538speak on your behalf , we all care
The only thing that makes this game good is the freedom of mods. Without mods, the game is trash.
You can say that about all games.
Even without mods its still a good game
Fr I can't play the game without mods
Agreed. But the modders have to keep up with it. I've seen some of the best mods go away just because they've moved on in life, and the game keeps on. If SCS could get more rights to stuff, we wouldn't have to see Walbert stores or trailers lol.
I don't use mods and i play the game without dlc too. I've racked up many hours!
