2010 Audi A4 2.0T thermostat replacement and comparisons.

The car had code P2181 and I checked live data and found the coolant temp would only reach 172*, it should be around 203*.
I found it was difficult to find the correct thermostat so I show in the video a couple of options given if you check on line or at autoparts store.
The motorad was found at local parts stores.
The Mahle I ordered from RockAuto.
I later did this job on another car without removing the water pump.

I'm just about to change just a thermostat. Nowhere I can find a video of changing just a thermostat, everyone pulls the pump out at the same time.
