I figured out the HP on the hellcat, it was pretty easy...the answer is "not enough."
To come to it’s defense, It probably made a lil more than the corvette. But it ate at too many buffets and weighed about 1300 pounds more.
Weight = "too much"
Yep not enough, even though, based on the mods the cat is probably pushing between 800 and 900 wheel HP, which is not a small amount of HP, but that weight is a killer.

C6 Corvettes still putting in work 17 years strong now . C6 Z06’s and ZR1’s are still faster than 99% of new 2022 sports cars . GM was ahead of their time with the engines , gearing and weight of these cars back in the mid 2000’s .

Yes sir! I had an ECS blower on my C7. Had a paxton novi 1500. Greatly improved top end and low end cause ECS blower comes with a restrictor plate that has blower spinning even faster down low so it doesn't sacrifice torque at low rpms. Kept psi down to around 8-10 psi since i didn't forge bottom end

Thanks for sharing! That centri blower power baby! Makes me miss my supercharged C7 Z51 A8. I had a ECS blower (centri) on mine. Pushing about 620-630 rwhp and i never lost to a Hellcat. Best base Hellcats and Redeyes no problem.
Well yeah your more aero and lighter making same power. But a hellcat can just do an E85 tune and make 750rwhp also they can do a pulley swap and tune and make the same or more.

Cat is around 850 to the wheels, a friend of mine has Just Upper pulley ( stock lower pulley), Full exhaust on E85, and he is making 900 HP to the wheels. that's the max power that you can get for a stock Blower

@@racequad9 because it depends on the size of your upper pulley. If they don’t specify the size of the upper you’re left guessing around 800-950 whp. The stock upper is 3.35. 2.85, 2.75, 2.65 etc are aftermarket upper pulleys. The smaller the pulley the better, but the more stress it causes on your car.
Most 2.85 upper hellcats with the bolt ons and injectors for e85 dyno around 850rwhp. Running a 2.75 will yield a bit more power but you need to swap your injectors no question for Pump E85. 2.65 upper pulley you could get in the 1xxx rwhp range. Lower pulley won’t add much especially if you go with a smaller upper.
I'm guessing he's over 900whp since he wants to keep his hp a secret. No other reason why he wouldn't others to know

I'd say the Hellcat is making like mid-low 800s to the wheels. I could see it being up by 50-75whp and losing like that due to weight.

That Hellcat is probably close to 900 wheel HP based on the mods, but pretty heavy compared to the C6, with over 100 whp less than the Hellcat. Wouldn’t want my HP rating disclosed either, especially getting beat by lighter and less HP rated cars. I enjoyed the vid though, that C6 is strong!
