@@Audioobscure how is the song sad? it strikes me as particularly sad since the topic (love) is something that’s very simple and intrinsic to humanity, yet still so complex that we can’t pinpoint exactly what it is and isn’t. i find beauty but also a lot of sadness in the kinds of experiences that everybody on the planet shares, it’s what makes us human but it’s also often the hardest things to experience. Love is one of those universal experiences that can leave you broken but that’s what gives life it’s meaning. That’s just me though and my perception of this song.
