@@hairtransplantinindia Sorry for the confusion by me, I meant to say men with AA. I have AA and when I took whey and lifted I had great hair. I stopped whey 3 years ago and lift the same amount but have more hair loss now. But I know there are many factors at play besides weights and whey, I am getting older which if you have AA means you will lose more hair regardless of what you do. You will agree, I imagine, that testosterone is not the main culprit in hair loss, but DHT? So my question is: If your body increases its testosterone, can one assume that your body will convert more of it to DHT? DHT is 5x more influential on the hair follicle, yes?

Doctor, A lot of online articles including US doctors mention whey protein is safe to use as it is a milk based product and has no effect on Hair loss. My intention is not to counter your claim but to understand the link between the two better. How do one determine if testosterone levels are high? Is it in the normal Blood work lab test? What is the name of the test called ?

I switched to just protein concentrate protein power as it is less processed with nothing else included and it seems to have stopped. This has seemed to work for me but it may not work for others as everyones body is different. I wonder what is the doctors opinion on Protein isolate vs Protein concentrate.

Hi, doctor. I used a whey protein isolate for a period of 2 months from October to December. During November or December, without me noticing I had a temporal recession on the left side and some thinning on the right. This all seems to have happened in the course of 1 month. On a blood test, I had very low vitamin-D as well. I stopped using the protein powder in the middle of December. I didn't and don't have any increased shedding but I do see some tiny hairs fall compared to before. Now that I have stopped the protein powder, would it possible for the hair to grow back on it's own?

Thanks for the detailed explanation Doctor. My question is: Given the difficulty in finding nutritious and unadulterated natural food (eggs, dairy, fruits etc) in the market, wouldn't it be better to consume a high quality whey protein from grass fed cows? Wouldn't it be easier to find a good brand of whey protein than to find unadulterated nutrious food given the absence of good control in our country?

    • @hairtransplantinindia

I wonder if all the food is India is adulterated. But then all these supplements have a lot of chemicals that will not go well with

What about low fat quark, can i eat it after a muscle work out? I could not find out if it contains creatin and DHEA which leads to a increase of the the production of the DHT hormone which makes hair loss
second question: What about casein protein powder (day&night from weider),does it contain creatin and dhea?
Thank you in advance for your response and i appreciate your help and advices in your videos concerning hair loss!

    • @hairtransplantinindia

Quark even with more fat will not affect hair loss. It is a natural product and does not contain any such ingredient that is harmful to the follicle. But casein protein powder lookd suspicious to me. If you have evidence suggesting thinning, I would stay away from any supplment that is packaged. Follicles are ultra sensitive when you carry the male pattern gene. Thank you for being on my Channel. I value my subscribers and their queries.

But I am 100% vegetation and fulfilling protein intake from veg diet is nearly impossible. So can you please suggest what should I do to stop hair fall and along with it fulfill my protein intake without any whey supplements.

The response is varable. If you wish to do both intense workouts (anaerobic) alongwith whey consumption, you need to closely observe the effect of Finasteride yourself. I can understand that maintaining a fit body may be also important to you besides the hair. So resultant hair loss of whatever degree will be a compromise you will need to take in your stride.
