    I guess, if I may comment... If you had put the points in chronological order, from first night - 36 hours - 5 days - 2 weeks - etc. That would have been nice. I ended up copying down the relevant information for me and then reordering them into chronological order so I can refer to them later.

    Sir, I recently underwent a hair transplant procedure. After 48 hours, my doctor performed the first head wash. During this, he massaged the donor area but used only saline water on the frontal side. The same procedure was repeated after 72 hours. However, after 96 hours, when the doctor wasn't available, one of the clinic staff performed the head wash, massaged the scalp, and removed all the scabs. I'm feeling anxious and worried that the grafts may have been affected or dislodged due to the massage or scab removal after 96 hours. Could you please advise me on this matter?

    Outstanding video Dr. Thank you. Only one point concerns me. I have post finasteride syndrome from 17 years ago. This stuff was absolute poison to me and destroyed my life. I had my HT 3 days ago. And I dont take Finasteride nor Minoxidil. Now this is new to me that transplanted hair can be damaged by DHT. Never heard this before. I hope my transplanted hairs will survive it then. Because there is no chance I touch that drug ever again. Rather I go for a hair system if this HT fails due to DHT.

    • @hairtransplantinindia

      Thanks. Yes oral Finasteride is important for good suatained results. Even hair at the back is not completely DHT resistsnt and during the growing phase grafts are susceptible. Will keep the link and doctor's addressfor future visits, just got mine done in Turkey...
    The only problem I had with is reg. Whey products.
    Reading online discussions, the answers were mixed, most saying it doesn't affect transplants if it didn't cause massive hairloss before the transplant anyway, plus it is a good nutrient delivery for hair and skin if of good quality (mine e.g.is 90% protein, very low in sugar and has most vitamins and minerals added). Finastiride should also anyway be a great counterbalance.
    If anyone has a clearer explanation or dissents happy to hear 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

      @hairtransplantinindia  3 месяца назад

      Some people who are on Finasteride (oral) tolerate whey better. You will need to see for yourself. There is no one answer for everyone. But is is surely not good for hair when you carry the baldness gene. Companies will tell you anything to sell their product.

      In an average sized head with naturally sited hairline and if donor permits, I would say around 5500-600 grafts. However I have had patients with lesser grafts create a great illusion. These were days when I restricted number of body grafts since thse days patients were not comfortable with them since every surgeon would guide them against. Hello doctor! I have a weird question. I recently had an HT around 6 months ago. I am currently taking medication of Finasteride 1mg daily and Androanagen supplements.
    I am thinking of taking Testosterone booster tablets for my stamina, deeper voice and muscle development. Is it a bad idea to mix it with the other medicines I am taking? Considering I am taking Finasteride and Androanagen tablets daily, will it confuse my body and create complications?
    Thank you so much for all your highly informative videos.

    • @kailars
      @kailars 3 месяца назад

      Didn't see any answer here, from my understanding that's no problem as the problem is only testosterone turning into free DHT, which should be subdued by 0.5 to 1mg finastirid.
      Of course more testosterone means a higher chance of more DHT in general, so it may in theory be a pinch higher. Minoxidil, Finpecia as well as Terzolin shampoo should counterbalance. Terzolin was found to be highly affective. Has different brand names like Ketozoline shampoo (against dandruff)

      I would not be able to comment on another doctor's prescription as he would have written the prescription in your best interest. I advise my patients 1 mg a day for 6 months and this is non negotiable if he is the right candidate for a hair transplant. I have refused hair transplants in those who are candidates for taking Finasteride,but have reservations about Finasteride- since in these patients a hair transplant will not be in their best interest. DHT will continue to exert its deleterious effects; and besides native thinning hairs miniaturising further, even at times the transplanted hairs thin out with time.
      Finasteride will need a prescription.It is not an OTC drug in any part of the world.
      There are many polymorphic forms of the same salt of a drug. Brands differ in potency and effectivity often. Whatever brand you start should be a reputed brand and best to stick to it and not change horses mid-stream.

      Any hair color that is ammonia free. L'Oreal has good hair dyes. You can color after 6 weeks of a hair transplant.
