    Hi,
    My mom through out her life largely used indian burner and she has been very happy. Over the last 5 years we have been using italiam burner and she is tired of slow cooking.
    I shortlisted a model Vidiem 4 burner hob 2 in 1 which comes with hexa burner. Unable to decide is this can be defined as indina burner or italiam burner ?

    I bought a hobtop ( it can work both as a cooktop and in sunk position) by Prestige some 4 years back. And it is a a pain to maintain it. Cleaning is really difficult and has made the life so much more complicated. It looks stylish though. But you end up looking shabby after cleaning it 😜

    • @TheGrapevineIndia
      @TheGrapevineIndia  3 года назад

      Hi CK! haha you are truly funny! But why is it a pain? Is it cos it does not have a gap between countertop and the hobtop? The one I had from Faber was a cooktop - so was quite easy to maintain. The one I got now from Kaff - it's good but heating is so fast I have to keep a close eye on it. More often than not, I spill stuff :D

    • @HarmonicaShala
      @HarmonicaShala 3 года назад +1

      @@TheGrapevineIndia We have placed it on the kitchen counter itself. The problem is that since its body is sealed, the liquid spillage finds it way inside. If you do not clean it very regularly, it sticks on the metal parts inside and cleaning it can be a tough task. Inner mechanism is sophisticated and you are scared to mess with it. Although the Prestige support team is nearby and they attend whenever called, but replacement parts are expensive. They also offer a cleaning service for thorough inner cleaning and chemical treatment for which they charge 1100/- . With that pricing, I can buy a two burner budget stove every year and throw it off if it gets clogged !!
      You may get an idea if you look for the images of this product. The problem is - what happens above the burner is what my wife handles. Below the burner, I am put on the duty. Needless to explain why I end up looking shabby ( bit of exaggeration though !! ) 🤣🤣🤣

Their stainless steel burners (like this amzn.to/3a2ABjK) are italian burners. I don't recommend Italian burners, unless you want to slow cook. They do have a few stainless steel models with brass burners, but have been out of stock for a while. In general - I find fewer options for stainless steel hobs these days.
