Good video I just put mine on , thing is the black buttons come unscrewed. Put a dab of loctite and use snap ring pliers or the 1.5 hex bit to tighten.
Nice little trick mod, I'll definitely like the video so i can come back to it when i get my new V2 Infraction hopefully by this summer or earlier. I already have an XO-1 not the new one you have the older one with a Max 6 G1\4985SL 1,650KV brushless combo in my car and a Radiolink RC8X radio system.
Oh yeah you will love the infraction. The XO-1 is great, I’m sure the older one is too, but the infraction drives completely different considering how similar they are. And that mod just makes life easier. Thanks for watching!
@@familyrc777 I'm hoping the Infraction will be awesome, I was going to do a Felony but i like how the Infraction keeps the front and rear tires the same size and i already have a set of Hoons lying around. Although the Felony has been on sale for awhile for $572 i also found a Castle swapped one for $600 on eBay.
We have both the infraction v1 , v2 and the Felony and I’m with you on the infraction with both the front and rear using the same tires. They both ride so similar it’s not worth not getting the infraction and it comes with a cool hand brake feature. That is completely unnecessary from a drifting perspective. It drifts so easily and controllably. But it’s still fun to use. If you don’t mind going the used route, you can find excellent deals on offerup and facebook marketplace. I got my v2 infraction with an 8s system, 2 Spektrum 4s batteries, an aluminum front bumper and a jaguar body for $400. It didn’t come with controller or the handbrake. But I got controller and later on picked up an aftermarket handbrake system and put it in. I’ve seen 6s felony’s sell for as low as $300.
@@familyrc777 I might stick with the Infraction since i feel it would be cheaper to own the Infraction over the Felony. I love the look of the Felony and the Limitless but i think the Infraction looks awesome too. and i wouldn't mind owning any of one of the three but i want to start off with an Infraction or Felony before going with a Limitless V2.
Again I have to agree with you there, both the felony and the limitless look awesome. We almost got a limitless off of offerup. But you are right, it’s cheaper to run the infraction over the felony. But I’ve heard many times that the limitless drifts like the infraction and felony. And when you find limitless’s for sale on the market places they normally have some super good electronics , especially when consider how much was put into it for the build in the first place.
Great question, I haven’t had any bad crashes to really put it to the test lol. But as of right now we’ve had no issues with it. And we want to add it to more vehicles down the road. Not every car is a good fit for the mod. But there are a lot of good cars that it will work on.
@@princemarcel You can figure out a way but out the box the mounting system appears to be different then the 6s line. It also may depend on what gen the kraton 8s is.

@@Matthewjeter6003 that’s is 100% spot on! I ended up posting a short about that. A simple and easy fix! Thanks for the comment!
Tip for body holes. Use a step drill bit. It won’t snag the plastic and tear it.

Could you check with a multimeter if you get continuity from the button to the post looks like it would make an excellent no plug light mod😮
Yeah let me see what I can do. I saw someone do something like that but they never explained how they did it.
This is Epic. loved your Video and just had to do this mod. KICK them body clips!!
Thank you! Yeah my father in law saw that I did that and wants to do it for his felony!
I need them where can I get them from
Amazon, link in the description.
Great idea thanks man
Awesome tutorial video!
Does anyone know if these would hold up to speedrunning (limitless/infraction doing 140-150)
I wish I knew. That’s a great question! And thank you!
awsome mod. Just wondering how durable are they. I'm still going to do it

Can i fit them on my limitless v2 ?
Not 100% sure! I think it may be possible.
will this work on the kraton 8s?

@@familyrc777 ok thanks. the stock pins are a pain sometimes😩
R those solid rubber tires
Lol sadly no. Those tires were what was left of some GRPs. Since then they have been replaced thankfully.
