Mel is my all time favorite cast member of Black Ink! She was least problematic and mind her own business, she stood up for the women empowerment in the shop and had such a chill personality. Plus she was pretty as hell with her unique style!

I felt like Melody was the only one who seemed real. Like she was honestly showing who she is and not hiding anything. You know some of them don’t show their true reactions because they don’t want to look crazy. Then here’s Melody walking in the shop with a completely shaved head admitting that she doesn’t even remember doing it.
Idk about everyone else but that only made me respect Melody more for allowing that serious time in her life to be shown.
It’s amazing how close you can feel to someone that you’ve never met or even knows you exist.
Melody was one of the best Tattoo artists and least problematic out of everyone.

Melody was a beautiful spirit, and she never got involved in any of the physical altercations or really bad fights and arguments that the rest of the crew got into. She had a rocky start, but ended on good terms with everyone. I wonder if she still keeps in touch with the rest of the cast? 🤔
