    I just mounted mine using the stock body hinge mechanism on rear and magnets to hold the front down. Easy access and no protruding body mounts. All electronics were left in the stock position.

    I love that body! Very nice, well done.
    The overhang at the back is too much for me, gets hung up, and the weight, but the scale appeal is great.

      Mrs. Rabbit yeah I’m hoping to get some good crawling in a video soon! I actually just bought another one of these bodies to play with a bit. I’m probably gonna cut the rear a bit to shorten it up. It actually helps keep it from flipping backwards at times tho 😂

      I haven’t had any issues with the driveshaft rubbing on mine. Well not any more than every scx24 has. Seems like they all rub a tiny bit at certain points of articulation but no I haven’t had an issue with mine on this setup.

      What secret do you have putting those wagon wheels together

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  4 года назад +1

      Pedar01 you sort of get better the more you do them. Never easy really lol. Lately I’ve been getting the tire set on the rim,then using a small clamp on two sides of the wheel to sort of clamp down on the tire. That way it’s all set and won’t move. Then run a screw through that and line up the hex. Get a couple screws lined up and start them a good bit. Pull the clamps and make sure the tire stayed in place good. Then slowly run the other screws in. Been working pretty well. The rok lox are by far the worst tire to mount on them! The others aren’t too bad.

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  3 года назад +1

    • @brianonthego
      @brianonthego 3 года назад +1

      @@2fmrc I appreciate your help. I found some Loctite extreme glue no drip gel at Home Depot. In my attic I ran across an old Bigfoot 1/24 scale model...and tires. I put the body on my scx24 jeep. Truck works awesome on the chasis. Glue works well, especially when left overnight. I am thinking of getting longer shocks and getting the Bigfoot tires on.

    Also do you know if the body mount positions are different on the c10 because I’m planning on getting one of these and doing something similar but i would rather have the c10 body

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  3 года назад

      Yeah the c10 mounting positions will be slightly different than what I started with because it was a deadbolt. Should be fairly simple to make the hard body work on the c10 also though. May have to mess with the wheelbase a bit but you can make about any of them work

    Does it still crawl well with the heavy body? How about compared to stock?

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  3 года назад +1

      It still crawls really well. It’s not as good as some of my other modded out rigs but it also don’t look like them. With the scale look it shouldn’t perform as well as my 4ws rig for example. It does do amazing though. Way better than a stock rig but it has a ton of mods and is HEAVY! It has a bunch of brass,all aluminum hot racing stuff including links,skid,steering links,front axle housing etc. Plus wheel weights etc so it holds it down pretty well. If you put this body on a straight stock truck it probably would hinder its performance a decent amount. With some mods it’s great though.

      This will be my only RC, I still can’t decide which way to go and if the hardbody will hinder it too much to be worth it. I was planning to do the DIY brass links, barrage motor with brass plate, wheel weights, etc and then I start to wonder if the weight it a recipe for broken parts
