The fact that you guys are using these highly detailed toy bodies and building functional Rc crawlers is awesome. That's what makes this hobby so much fun and interesting
That's awesome that die cast body isn't too heavy! I was planning to do a plastic model conversion on my C-10 SCX24 but I'm having trouble finding the model I want. Knowing that die cast is an option is totally awesome!
I was going to do this too, but ended up ordering a plastic model body. I wanted a 66 Chevy pickup truck, because I have a real one, but can’t afford to fix it up and use it.
Full respect for the competition guys, the weekend engineers pushing the limits, honing their skills... But for me this is even better. Experimenting, repurposing, scale modelling... I love it.
I am going to argue that the more weight the better off we are, and I'm pretty sure we still can't get close enough to true scale weight without a lot of addition. That truck looks awesome, great work!
Hell Yeah!!! The intro was Killer!!! Hahahahaahahaha! You went and started something now. Love my Dentside. Thanks again. Great job on that one. The tonneau cover was a great idea. I think they perform a lot more like a scale truck.
That looks just awesome. I am still all theory - but the Furitek setup might smoothen the ride out. I am definitely going to check out more of our videos (and of course of Jaysen). I would love to get a smooth riding little flat bed truck with a lot of detail and this just could be the way to go.
That thing looks awesome my friend!!🤩👍👍👍 Great job! I did one with a Blazer body and yours looks like a comp rig compared to the performance of my Blazer😂😂
Great intro brother! Love it Love it Love it! Nice looking rig. Drop that dead weight...I dont mean the die cast body...I mean Jaysen. JK LOL great video man!
Its my favorite intro I’ve ever done haha and I’m doing good brotha, just been busy with work and the kid and just don’t have the energy for much else lately lol
I love BIG RED❤she's a handsome little bugger ain't she? Just one question...... would you happen to have a part number for those rc4wd tractor tyres please? Thanks dude👍
Those are “Miclaw” tires, they are an old set of discontinued 1.0 tire, they are hard to find these days and people want wayyy to much money for them :/

I’ve seen Diecast bodies on rc’s in the past but after building one I’m really surprised at how capable it really was all things considered 😄👍🏻
I think that is the absolute best part of the small trucks.

Props for including the cut footage!

There's my answer to the ? I asked on your "shorts" video. Thanks
Super cool, looks like performed pretty good to me. Love it catch on the next one, peace and chicken grease 👍👍😁
Brushless two speed with a die cast perfectly detailed body is what is needed!
I thought about doing this with the A team van on my fcx24. Cool you did this 😁
That would be a pretty awesome build! Glad you enjoyed the content 🤙🏻
Best looking 24 ive seen.
Thanks 🤙🏻
That’s awesome, and gave me ideas haha. It performed great i reckon and looks like the weight was good in certain area’s
Glad you enjoyed it! It’s preforms pretty good for the weight 👍🏻
You can get double sided velcro at Walmart or Amazon wherever you like works really well for bodies like this and already has adhesive on it
Hell Yeah!!! The intro was Killer!!! Hahahahaahahaha! You went and started something now. Love my Dentside. Thanks again. Great job on that one. The tonneau cover was a great idea. I think they perform a lot more like a scale truck.

Love the diecast bodies. They might be heavy but from my experience they still crawl pretty good

@5:36 - hi Dustin! I see you…
I wondered if anyone would catch that reflection lol
I wish the aftermarket would make those tires again..👍🏻
That thing looks awesome my friend!!🤩👍👍👍 Great job! I did one with a Blazer body and yours looks like a comp rig compared to the performance of my Blazer😂😂

Its my favorite intro I’ve ever done haha and I’m doing good brotha, just been busy with work and the kid and just don’t have the energy for much else lately lol
It looks like it crawls better with the weight of the body ?
I've been avoiding 1/24, I know I have 50 model car Bodies I will be trying to put on there
Sweet 🤙🏻
Do they make fuel power crawlers like these ? It be cool to hear the engine revs instead of the electric motor
They make mini engines for 1/10 scale RC crawlers but nothing this small unfortunately :/
This here is fuckin amazing ❤️❤️ i love it
Thank you! I am glad you like it 😄🤙🏻
To the hobby shop I go!
Hell yeah! 🤘🏼
😎👍👍
Where did you find the Miclaw tires?
eBay 🤘🏼😆 been lookin for a couple years lol
I love BIG RED❤she's a handsome little bugger ain't she? Just one question...... would you happen to have a part number for those rc4wd tractor tyres please? Thanks dude👍
RC4WD Mud Basher 1.0 amain part number:RC4ZT0210 🤙🏻
@@UpperLeftRC thank you for your reply 😎👍
What tires are on in video they look awesome
Those are “Miclaw” tires, they are an old set of discontinued 1.0 tire, they are hard to find these days and people want wayyy to much money for them :/
What chassis are you using? I'm trying to build one so bad!
Scx24 Chevy c10
What is the bed cover made out of?
Plastic, it’s a bed cover for a model truck that fits this Diecast truck bed
What is the wheelbase? I got a scx24 gladiator in layaway and wanting to do something similar to this
Scx24 Chevy c10/jeep JLU wheelbase
@@UpperLeftRC thanks!
What shocks are you running man?
Power hobby stock length shocks with soft springs, it’s pretty much bottomed out suspension all the time lol
i had a few 1/24 rc drifters that use dicast bodies they are too heavy for comp
Yeah for sure, they do much better at trailing than actual comping
