To all the people commenting that they couldn't tell what repair was actually made, neither could I. Should've been made more clear that it was a DIFFERENT tube.
I showed black dotted tube in the beginning which supposed to be replaced which I replaced with a brand new one. You can easily differentiate the old one with the new. Thanks for comments.

May be you could show how to replace the components as well. I like DIY. Hence, have collected some cfl over a period of time. I collected them to salvage the toroids from the circuits. Normal shops don't sell it(toroids) and i need to go 15 kms to get it. The best way was to look for them in CFL ballast. I tried repairing some of the CFL's but was not much succesfull

You 're right toroids are not easily available in electronic shops. By the way why are you collecting them for? Thanks.

What you have tought in this video.removing and reconnecting wire is repairing?
Here I showed how to recognize the faulty tubes by showing black dots in the beginning. Then I showed how to open & remove it at home and then how to replace a brand new tube with the old faulty tube. The people are throwing these bulbs when the tubes are burnt & the circuit is ok, which can easily be repaired and re-use. Thanks for comments.
White glass coil is not separately available anywhere in India. It may be available in near future. Delhi mechanics are enterprising. They can find a way out if they decide.

time spent to find and source cfl tube, time to get plaster if not on hand + cost of a bag of plaster and time spent on breaking apart and re-assembly lol fools errand, unless you REALLY REALLY NEED it for a job and all you have is bayonet fittings of the same size and watts and unless you gonna lose your job and REALLY REALLY need it to be a screw fitting and all the shops are closed then great video lol

One of the red wire came off and not sure where to put it in. Do I put it in the same hole as the other red wire or no?
pair of 2 left side any where & the other pair to the right side any where. 2 left & 2 right.
One red wire is in the middle. By the way this is the screw part of the bulb where the silver metal is that close to the person hand in the thumb nail picture. There are two red wires. One is still connected and the other is discounted.
That is the main power supply connections 2 wires coming from the metal body to the circuit. connect the other one also there as there should be two.

Replace the component which is burnt. You'll have to check components will multi tester who are looking burnt but not just a capacitor. Diodes & resisters are frequently burnt most of the time.

The cfl bulb which you are dismantled is a fuse bulb or what ; if that was fused then how it will working the same bulb.
Dear I am showing a new fresh tube after removing the fused bulb then I replace it. In the beginning I showed all fused bulbs with black spots on every one. Thanks for comments.

Its a common sense yar. I showed how to replace a tube of a dead bulb, In the first scene I've already showed all black spots.

how to check spiral glass of CFL, can you tell me please
1) There will be black spots in the bottom which I clearly showed in video in the beginning.
2) Multimeter will not show continuity either pair.

There might be some components are weak or any short circuit is there. Its hard to find out if the circuit is running well & there is a fault.

You can find it at most of the electrical shops and some times from the cfl repairing shops .
This is 25 watts cfl but in other cfl you will soldered connections which you will have to remove from soldering iron.

I don't get it. I didn't see the wires replaced. Just stretched out prior to reassambling the bulb. What was wrong with the bulb to begin with? Please explain.
The tube was damaged & I showed black spots in the very beginning. At 1:35 I clearly showed a brand new tube to be replaced & fixed in place. That is how we can replace the tube of 25 watts cfl. Some of the cfl are having 2 pair connections to be soldered by soldering iron with the same design. I hope you understand now. Thanks for comments.

iski waja circuit men koi kharabi ya transistor ki weakness ho sakti hy. tube puri fit karne se pehle bahar se hi connection laga kar check kar lena agar puri tara na jalay to dusrey bulb men fit kar k dekhna.
It is pretty bad when you cant even afford a 75 cent bulb. Can get 4 for 2.99$. I do not think any one is going to mess with trying to fix a 75 cent bulb.
In eastern countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh it costs 1.2$ & repairing cost is 0.25$. If you convert in their currency, it seems a big difference & saving which a poor person prefer to repair.

I would say the Elco might be broken, they often do, and you can easily replace that.
If you have to replace the whole tube, you'd better just buy a new lamp.
Changing the whole tube is cheap. The bulb price is 130 while the new tube we get only for 30 in my country.
I do a lot of DIY soldering and I really wouldn't know any supplier of tubes that sells to consumers (Germany, Netherlands).
I wouldn't buy CFL bulbs anyway, I switched to LED.
In my country, all spares parts are easily available with cheaper price. You can buy everything separately & can assemble the entire cfl with low price. Thanks for comments.

There is more then 50% chance that your part and control circuit will be good and the lamp needs a glass tube only.

Some loose connection is there. It might be a wire connection or any component of the circuit has loose connection.

The tube was dead as I shown black spots appeared then I removed the tube and replace a new one instead of buying an entire bulb which saved cost.

You can not check the circuit at a glance. You must have to know the current measurement in places. The easy way to repair is that you check all components one by one who appears as black spots or burnt. Usually resisters & transistors in the center part are burnt most frequently which you have to change. If you are well familiar with electronics, you can do otherwise its hard to repair. Thanks.

junk the tube and salvage the components they're worth more out of that thing anyway. Buy LED bulbs instead, instant on -none of this waiting for the CFL to start and then taking longer to warm up than you're going to be in the room. Those yellow X2capacitors are worth having if only for low power non-isolated mains driven PSUs inside sealed enclosures e.g. for deriving 3.3 or 5v to drive an MCU like an ATtiny or PIC or ATMega series.
