Hey Rex, what would you recommend as a Nova 28-8 replacement? I love my LRP .32 that you modded for me but it is running a Nova carb so that alone makes the engine better. Since we can't get Nova stuff anymore, a modded LRP .32 is our main option for bashers but the stock carb is absolute trash. We need another/better engine option. What say you? And yes, whatever you recommend has to be "modd-able" since you know we sending it your way.
I don't really see anything available right now that is on par with the Nova .28. Picco and Os used to have a .28 but haven't seen them lately. Send me your stock carb for the .32 and I will do a mod so you can test it for me. The Alpha .28 seems pretty good but also hard to find.

Block and engine are based off the PICCO BLAST definitely not Reds. Reds engines were made by PICCO for few years awhile back

What do you mean 24 thousands of a head shim .I hear it all the time . What is that meaning into millimetres?
.6mm but that is the piston to head clearance. Basically the gap when the piston is at tdc.
