Angry Passenger Yells at Flight Attendants Over Crying Baby

- One passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight had a total meltdown after listening to a crying baby for 35 minutes. The tirade unfolded on a flight from Baltimore, Maryland, to Orlando, Florida. As flight attendants told him to calm down, the angry passenger yelled, trying to quiet the baby. Other passengers even chimed in but his rant grew more explosive. Inside Edition's Ann Mercogliano has more details.

Often the parent dealing with the crying baby is feeling overwhelmed and crappy when they aren’t able to soothe the baby. Screaming at the baby and/or the parent isn’t going to help anything. Either it makes the parent more frantic or angry and can cause the baby to cry and scream louder. It’s not as if the baby went on that plane with the intention to cry. After 20 minutes of screaming, my baby decided he was done and took his bottle and went back to sleep. It was so random. But I was willing to get off the train in a strange city because the mortified feeling the mom gets is worse than any feeling anyone else is feeling.

@@nunyabizness9955 it’s called empathy. Try it. Most parents try their best to quiet down children. Sometimes they won’t be quiet. Children crying does create an emotional response in us and it has helped keep us humans alive for thousands of years. Ear plugs, headphones and some empathy can go along way.
Then don't bring them in a plane. It's ridiculous how this is everyone else's problem when you just identified with the fact that it can't be helped. Place the trip on hold or dive your own car. The world doesn't revolve around your baby.
Ngl, some parents don't know how to parent either though. We had an 8 hour flight with a toddler and baby with parents who didn't believe in punishment. So the toddler was running up and down the aisle screaming, they were stepping and climbing into empty seats on the plane and some guy ended up catching him when he fell, they had puked as well in the aisle and some of it got on one of the other passengers. And the parents just sat there and did nothing. I think other passengers were more engaged with the kid than his own parents were. So it was sad because you feel for the kids but it was annoying to listen to 8 hours of nonstop screaming.
I see this at restaurants and stores all the time. Far too many parents want the world to cater to them in every way but god forbid they show an ounce of consideration to anyone else.

bigger baby vs baby !!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Everyone can understand how he is feeling, I personally hate it when babies won't stop screaming on a flight, but to make a scene about it is completely unacceptable
Had a kid kicking my seat on a flight from Ibiza to Paris. Had not slept in over 24 hours, gave the kid a little death stare and he instantly stopped. lol
I think people have completely lost their minds acting like this.
Agreed
I know I would if I get stuck with a crying baby for too long.
Babies have only one form of communication, which is crying, I think that tends to fly over people's heads. The baby's ears may have been hurting because of the fact that it was on a plane and may not have been used to it. People need to realize that and get over it or maybe even bring ear plugs.
But some do it just because they can though when they don't get what they want. They just scream with no tears. I've seen it and it's disturbing.
This is how to cause extreme anxiety to a mother and baby.. yelling makes the baby cry more.
What about a father and a baby?
@@Holland1994Dthis has nothing to do with a father ☠️
This man holds the rage of those who have experienced bad kids on flights for years. 😆
He’s a grown man throwing a tantrum. I feel bad for his significant other 😩😩 I would feel beyond embarrassed with his behavior 🫠
Seriously, that was insane. 😩😞
I would have been mortified.
A lot of commenters defending the chimp for some reason
I'm more than willing to pay extra for child free flights. Let the parents with kids have their flights. Wish there were non-private jet options to fly child free.
First class usually
Exactly... I have plans baybyyy... I refuse to deal with a man like this and I have no children...
It should be same price for child free flights, but way more expensive to bring your kid!
@@mandyellis876 - Give them enclosed soundproof seating. It will be expensive but oh well.

A prepared parent brings that already. We always have a cloth along. Little one won't shut up? Put her on your lap. Cloth goes over your knees and over your shoulder, close the sides, voila, instant sound-dampening tent.
Won't create full quiet, but every decibel counts, and that's easily enough space for her to breathe normally.
Obviously also doubles as a blanket.
bro i kind of wish he was on the plane where the kid was screaming for 8 hrs straight
As a mother, HOW TF DOES SOMEONE ESPECIALLY A ANGRY MAN DEMAND THAT A CHILD STOPS CRYING. THIS INFURIATES ME.
Because not everywhere is for babies. As a mother, you should have the skills/tools to not make everyone else suffer from your child's behavior.
"You're yelling."
"So is the baby!"
Then ask for a bottle of milk for you to calm down!
It would have to be a pretty big bottle of milk though
I don't condone his outburst but I understand
Idc if "he's just saying what most people may be thinking". The difference is he is a grown ass man who has full control over his actions...just like all the other adults who have decided to not act as he has. He can decide how and when and where he communicates his needs, his frustrations, his discomfort. A baby does not have that option.
You can't blame someone for Getting upset over a crying baby on a plane. There's no escape. On a bus or train you can get off or go to another carriage. On a plane you're trapped with the noise.
Even better if parents of extremely unruly or disruptive children could just not get on planes, trains, buses... they're not wanted.
You can blame them on acting on it though. He's not an animal or a toddler
I feel for him because it can be annoying but he went about it the wrong way 😂😂 we need an adults only airline 😂
Bahahahahhahahhaaaa! Just get a charter.
