Thanks for making the video. I'm about to fit similar mirrors to my truck and this helped me to imagine where the hardware goes and how to mount the mirrors.
Bro your truck is gorgeous, I loved that you’ve saved her from the incorrect dentside mirrors , I’ve got a Bronco / Country SR made in Brazil same body of your truck on the bronco I love those 67-72 they are very beautiful trucks . All the best from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you! She’s come a long way, they mirrors bugged me for the longest time. That’s awesome bronco runs and drives? Same here they are my favorite body style. Thank you for watching!
@@AJsGarage hi bro thank you for your replay . Yes the Bronco drives and runs perfectly actually, it has the factory Diesel engine and the owner upgraded the manual transmission for a 5 speed Clark form the 1989 onwards F-1000 diesel in Brazil what is really good , I was going to put V8 and C6 but I’ve decided to keep it original cos it’s in great working condition, got Danna 44 I think , I am putting turbo intercooler, but body not so good bro , lots of bog and rust in areas , I couldn’t afford to be pick as only 3 of them are currently existing, have you got Instagram?? Mine is Leandromachado91 if you find me there I show it to you , body has a bit of rust very rare as they were pretty solid galvanised metal sheets at 1983 as Brazil Built bumpside from 1971-1992 never upgraded over 21 years , but it’s worth the hustle my friend . Enjoy your bumpside truck and If you like find me on Instagram. Thank you from Australia
Those are exactly what I need for my '67. I bought the truck with no mirrors at all but it has holes for these. Definitely gotta find some for a good price like you did though. Now way I'm paying over $200!
Random Stuff In Oregon I got lucky with mine. Some of the retainers are rusted so eventually I’ll replace them but I happened to just look for some the other day and most were over 250$ you could also go with the the shorter version of these as well, they don’t stick out as much
I need a single mirror for my truck that came with them from factory and I have one the other was missing when I bought it and been looking for a mirror to replace
brock stuart I had to get them from a junkyard. Luckily there is one near me that has a bunch of classic cars/trucks. I’m not sure if the bolts are reproduced.
Im not sure if there is another name for them but I believe it's "west coast mirrors". It will bring up a bunch of different ones then you could go off of the style you're looking for.

Simon Eldridge You’re welcome! Thank you for watching glad it helped.

I like the look. The mirrors really change the personality of the truck.
I like that beat while you were working on the door. 👍🏽
Thank you sir! First time I’ve used sound like that. Heard it before and came across it in iMovie.

I think I might try looking around in junkyards too. They've usually got way better prices on stuff like that.
Random Stuff In Oregon Yeah that would be a good find. I’ve found some in junkyards but they are all bent up
I need a single mirror for my truck that came with them from factory and I have one the other was missing when I bought it and been looking for a mirror to replace
What style mirror is it? You might be able to find a replacement online.
I realize this is an old vid, but I was Curious if you know how wide the truck is mirror to mirror with west coast jrs?
No worries, I actually have a set of JR’s so I can get you a number tomorrow. I’m working on a video right now refurbishing the mirrors
@@AJsGarage Thank you!!
Where did you get those last two T-bolts for the upper mount?
brock stuart I had to get them from a junkyard. Luckily there is one near me that has a bunch of classic cars/trucks. I’m not sure if the bolts are reproduced.
this company is reproducing the bolts for these mirrors: facebook.com/f100fasteners/
Robert Griffin They look like great replacements! I found them on eBay, I haven’t got a chance to order some.
@@AJsGarage I am doing the exact same thing this weekend. I have the exact same truck just in white. Thanks for all the content!
Robert Griffin Nice take some pictures and send them in! Email is in the about section.
Would it be worth putting western mirrors on opposed to the original mirrors with the truck
Just depends on the look your going for? When I first got this truck it had one small original door mirror like on F100s but it was in bad shape.
What exactly are the mirrors called
Im not sure if there is another name for them but I believe it's "west coast mirrors". It will bring up a bunch of different ones then you could go off of the style you're looking for.
@@AJsGarage I knew they were West Coast I didn’t know if they had a model name or something but I appreciate ya
you need to fix your doors. i have a toyota coaster and im looking for bus mirrors. i have little mirrors on it. you can not see to good
