In this video I changed the front differential fluid. Although my truck is relatively new, I got it used and I like being proactive about changing fluids on all my vehicles.

Torque spec for the drain and fill plugs is 18 ft-lbs.

LV in transfer case?
Yes. That is Ford's spec.
Our 2015 fx4 f150 calls for Mercon LV, a sticker was placed on transfer case by factory. I was told "Reason for change is transmission and transfer case using same, only separated by seals". If seal leaks fluids will be same, otherwise failure would happen if incompatible with transfer case.
Ford uses Silicone for their Gaskets...
