Love the videos! Looks like we’re from the same city! Currently 7 days into my overseed and the waiting sucks! Perennial rye has germinated but the KBG is a stubborn one. Using the blend from our local feed and seed shop.
I tend to stay with brands the I know well and have experienced success with. I won’t pay extra for a brand name. There is very little difference between one manufacturer and another besides the release technology and marketing.
@@JeffSeetonLawnCare hey I see you use a lot of the Ryobi products. Maybe a review vof your lawnmower could be an idea for an upcoming video. I know personally I’ve been looking at them for a while, but I am hesitant to pass from gas to battery.
Wouldn’t mowing the soil be detrimental to the sharpness of your lawnmower blade and cause browning on the grass tips you cut going forward. ? I think a Dethatcher would work best for breaking up the plugs. But leaving them down is best they will break down.
It has very little impact on the mower blade. Of course I sharpen my blades more than most, pretty much after each use. It takes about 2 minutes with a hand file. Also, when you leave the plugs Your mower ends up breaking them up. I have been doing this since the 1980’s, I have yet to see a lawn plug damage a blade.t
Love seeing you crawling on your knees patting away at the grass seed 👌 that’s dedicated for you. Thanks for the videos.

It is a great place to live for sure. That KBG can take quite a long time to come up, some times between 4 to 6 weeks.
Do you find it’s worth paying extra for namebrand fertilizer or are you satisfied with the results of the Home Depot brand?

@@TheRssr1979 I have not had any issues with the brand and have used it hundreds of time.

@@TheRssr1979 I will do just that. I had planned a Ryobi vs Ego video for this year. It may be a a couple of weeks out though.
