jack K I know I've heard from quite a few to just start with the basics first - so your favorite vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whiskey/whisky and maybe brandy. Add in basic bitters - angostura and orange/citrus - and mixers - sodas, lemon & lime juice and you've got a decent start to a home bar.
In my attempt to start a small bar, here are some of the categories of things I’ve bought. First, liquor- I’d recommend vodka, tequila, gin, rum, whiskey, and triple sec. secondary alcohols include: brandy, various schnapps, bitters, vermouth, champagne. Maybe Irish cream and coffee liqueur. Mixers- lime juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, grenadine. Possibly orange juice, cranberry juice, pineapple juice. Barware- shaker (can be standard Boston shaker or smaller shaker, depends on how many drinks you want), bar spoon, strainer, jigger. Glassware- martini glass, highball/Collins glass, and a whiskey glass/shorter round glass. Hope this helps!

I really liked this video! The channel is awesome and you are doing a very good job! You should consider making the subscriber cocktail video a whole series! Keep up the good work man! :)
Try this modern “tiki” drink: Name: “Sunside ambrosiac” Ingredients: - 70ml sweet Muskat-Ottonel wine (from fully-matured grapes), must have the viscosity and sweetness of vermouth. You can use other sweet wines but that’s something you have to test. - 70ml of fresh orange juice... adjust sourness with lime/lemon juice and sweetness with simple syrup since orange juice is a wild card... If you don’t want fresh orange juice, I find Pfanner orange juice with 6% extra simple syrup to work just fine. - 30ml club soda (adds a hint of fizz to the drink, plays well with the wine and the mezcal) - 25ml mezcal (a kind that’s funky but not too harsh on the smoke flavours) - 25 ml Jamaican rum (because we need a little bit of ripe banana spice) - 15 ml coconut liqueur - 15 ml papaya liqueur - a dash of Peychaud's Bitters In total, aprox 250ml of liquid Problems&Hiccups: Note that the minty anise from the bitters, the nutty coconut and the exotic papaya flavours are meant to play together evenly. If the coconut or papaya flavours aren’t strong enough and get lost you need to up the amount. Also, in some cases, the rum or the mezcal might not be funky enough to get through. These are the problems I encountered with this cocktail. Presentation&Preparation: - Add ice to a hurricane glass - Pour the club soda in the glass over the ice. - Add the rest of the ingredients into a shaker with a few ice cubes and shake it. - Pour over the ice in the glass (strain). - Sprinkle a very little bit of nutmeg powder on top - Add a straw and garnish with a slice of star fruit on the rim of the glass... or you can use a slice of kiwi without the peel. Hope you will enjoy this one.
Mine would piss all over these hahaha... Glass: Coupe, Method: Dry shake, double strain. Ingredients: 25ml cognac, 25mk st germain elderflower liqueur, 25ml lemon juice, 60ml Apple juice, 20ml sugar syrup, garnish: lemon and orange oils. Name: Ce Soir, enjoy.

Oh man that first one.. K.I.S.S. (to the originator) ! I probably would have gotten rid of the vodka and rosemary, and maybe replaced the triple sec with a dash of Orange bitters. Gin and mint is an excellent combination though.
I decided to try and make a cocktail and accidently made a cocktail the other day that tasted amazing, its made directly in the glass. 50 ml gin 25 ml freshly squezed lime juice 20 ml earl grey simple syrup (1 part sugar 1 part strong brewed earl grey tea) 200ml elderflower Tonic water (or just mix elderflower juice concentrate with Tonic water) Top with ice cubes and enjoy :)

+zfierocious311 2 part of love this is how you make anything good... seriously it's 2 part strong, it's a general rule half your drink is base liquor, the other half is seperated in two to be balanced, sweet and sour. For example you want to make a great margarita, you put 1 an a half ounce of tequila, 3/4 of lime juice and 3/4 of orange curaçao. The secret is balance and love...
Where and how do you get so many ingredients?? I have to visit this bar!! hahaha I want to submit a cocktail recipe with Brazilian ingredients just to challenge you! =) Congrats on the channel and the videos! Glad you're back!
I've got a Cochtail for you too! i invented it myself and called it "the ex-girlfriend". First take 25cl of vodka and drink it and then u cry...alot. You may vary the amout of vodka to your liking! Enjoy!
Hi I'm from India, Pondicherry pls make GINGER SPACE 30ml WHISKY GINGER SYRUP LIME WEDGES FRESH CUCUMBER SHEAK TO INGREDIENTS SAVED with whisky glass TOP SODA
Best polish cocktail:
-250 ml glass
-250 ml of vodka
Perfect
Dude!! 😂
That could also be a Finnish cocktail. We Finns love vodka. 😉
What about mayonez? You say polish, but there's no mayonez!
@@Markus_Heinonen You mean like a finnish blueberry punch. 5 l Vodka dip a blueberry not to long, it shouldn't take over the flavour.
I would love it if you do a video on how to start a home bar (what drinks, liqueurs, bitters, mixers, juices, etc. we should focus on getting first)

Oh man I should have posted mine. We call it "The Grinch"
Vodka, Apple Sourz, lime juice, ginger, olive oil. Delicious.
your bar is majestic..5 hearts.
Try this modern “tiki” drink:
Name:
“Sunside ambrosiac”
Ingredients:
- 70ml sweet Muskat-Ottonel wine (from fully-matured grapes), must have the viscosity and sweetness of vermouth.
- 30ml club soda (adds a hint of fizz to the drink, plays well with the wine and the mezcal)
- 25ml mezcal (a kind that’s funky but not too harsh on the smoke flavours)
- 25 ml Jamaican rum (because we need a little bit of ripe banana spice)
- 15 ml coconut liqueur
- 15 ml papaya liqueur
- a dash of Peychaud's Bitters
In total, aprox 250ml of liquid
Problems&Hiccups:
Note that the minty anise from the bitters, the nutty coconut and the exotic papaya flavours are meant to play together evenly. If the coconut or papaya flavours aren’t strong enough and get lost you need to up the amount. Also, in some cases, the rum or the mezcal might not be funky enough to get through. These are the problems I encountered with this cocktail.
Presentation&Preparation:
- Add ice to a hurricane glass
- Pour the club soda in the glass over the ice.
- Add the rest of the ingredients into a shaker with a few ice cubes and shake it.
- Pour over the ice in the glass (strain).
- Sprinkle a very little bit of nutmeg powder on top
- Add a straw and garnish with a slice of star fruit on the rim of the glass... or you can use a slice of kiwi without the peel.
Hope you will enjoy this one.
Awesome!

I missed what he said about the golden rule... 1 part sweet, 1 part sour, 2 parts... what? I can't make out what he says after that. anyone? 6:18
I have to visit this bar!! hahaha
I want to submit a cocktail recipe with Brazilian ingredients just to challenge you! =)
