Can confirm it is a beast at night. Rode right before the park closed this evening. But no lie, night or day, this thing is a monster. Especially that back row. Hands down, new fav ride. Undisputed.
Iron Gwazi looks insane! So intense and the airtime looks incredible! The wave turn looks like one of the best airtime moments on any coaster! Every element seems to deliver!
@@DuckDucknoGoose That wave turn and the zero g roll and massive airtime moments are amazing... Iron Gwazi is my new undisputed #1 coaster. Had such an amazing time today. Going back again tomorrow for more.

Iron Gwazi was so good. Definitely lives up to the hype and does not stop. It is fast toy he very end. It's gorgeous at night with the way they have the lights on it.
Can confirm, it is legendary. But real talk, night or day, this thing is a monster no matter what. If you have a annual pass I suggest getting in on the passholder previews. This things will have a 180 minute wait time easy in March.
@@joshuarogers1494 Glad you got to ride this beast. It is amazing right lol? I am like a crackhead waiting for his next fix. I cant wait to ride that bad boy again.
It is absolute insanity. You get yanked down while simultaneously getting ejected out over the support beams. That feeling is beyond a head chopper. I can't even properly articulate it.
It literally feels like it’s TOO fast. Like it’s ripping itself off the track. If you’ve ridden Lightning Rod is very similar to that, but smoother and faster
I’m so excited. I’m hitting 100 credits on Iron Gwazi today. 2 years ago TODAY, we watched it standing there closed, and we’re back today! I am beyond excited
So Glad my area is finally getting some top notch coasters. BGT is my home park but I also have Universal year passes, can’t wait to ride this in the next couple of weeks!

Funny thing is that I’ve done both in order. WC was the coaster that made me an enthusiast, and it’s my #3 behind mako and Iron Gwazi. Gwazis drop is mental, but it’s worth it, it’s awesome.
@@markcornish6393 It was beyond my expectations, if that's even possible. One of the best, if not the best. I posted a video on my channel talking about my experience.

Did the passport to thrills today and OMG this thing is a monster. It has it all. It was well worth the wait! And that night ride is amazing... But this thing is amazing day or night imo. That drop is insane along with the countless other elements like the "Death roll", Zero-G Roll, Wave Turn (which is brilliantly insane) and plentiful big airtime moments. The back row is for sure more intense, while the front offers the best view (especially the view of the drop). All I can say is wow! Going back tomorrow for the Platinum Pass Previews for sure. This is the best coaster I have ever ridden imo and is my new undisputed #1 without question.
This ride looks top 5 in the world! It would maybe be number 1 if they added a righ turn to the end into a zero g roll, then into a left turn into an ejector hill and slightly right into the breaks!
I will be heading to BGT tomorrow to finally ride Iron Gwazi. I've seen so many RUclipsr's videos over the last couple of days, I'm so ready for this. Ohw yeah, I loved timestamp 5:04 "Are you Iron Gwazi" 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe Sea World should be taking over Cedar Fair to add some bad ass coasters to the Cedar Fair parks because SEAS is making BOLD moves and they all seem to be major hits at the parks!
We see so many videos of people on new coasters going “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, whoaaaaaaaaaa...whoaaaaaaaaa, this is insane, oh my gosh..etc..etc... and yet there always seems to be other people in front, or usually behind, just sitting there chilling, without any crazy reactions. I have to wonder. Is it really that exciting, and the other people are just boring, or is it not as exciting as it seems, and all the whooping is just for effect 😂😂
I mean it's most definitely an insane coaster but everyone reacts differently. Personally it's never a natural thing for me to be screaming and saying how insane it is, no matter how much I enjoy it. Plus there's the fact that they kinda have to react more for the camera
This was a media day, so lots of people filming ride POVs... and if it's not a reaction video you want to keep your movement & whooping to a minimum to help with editing later. If you notice @ 2:15 the guy behind them in the very back row has his arm over the top of the seat the whole ride... he's holding a camera pointing backwards at the track for a reverse POV. So these media days make it harder to judge because you'll have people filming different stuff at the same time & you'll also see unrelated riders keep their reactions a bit more low key to help out the photographers 👍
I cannot wait to ride this mid-March. Loving all the content, each POV makes me even more hyped!!! If you were only able to ride it once what row would you pick?
If you haven't already, check out ElToroRyan's video from the same day.... he has POVs from a few different spots in the train & you can really see the difference in the kind of ride you get between the front, middle & back 👍
Considering central Florida feels like summer for all but 3 weeks out of the year, it's probably safe to go at rope drop. I rode it for the first time at around noon today and it literally flew. I can't imagine this ride ever feeling sluggish
I love the ride a ton. Tons of variety at Busch Gardens now, but for me it's just hard to compete with Kumba haha Kumba has such strong positive g forces and they're sustained for so long at a time. Iron gwazi is more about airtime and quick whips than it is about positive g forces. I wonder if it's because the supports are made out of wood and they can't handle the g forces? 🤔
I believe it's because RMC comes into their hybrids with a woodie mentality. They want to take what makes woodies good and jack them up a million times and add inversions. They got their start making Silverwoods woodies and constructing for GCI
@@mr.froglegs that's good to know, that's cool. I do love Iron gwazi now though. It grew on me. Definitely leaves you extremely shook after it ends. The other rides don't really do that, not even kumba
