I tried it out in search of a replacement for the G403 and I personally hated it. The buttons, texture, glossy bit, etc all had a really cheap feeling to them. The nearly flat left side with a super flared right side felt really weird and if you thought the G403/703 or larger Zowies were large, this thing felt enormous and unwieldy to grip for some reason. The GPX and MM711 were the only ones to come super close to replacing the 403, but ultimately neither were as comfortable and that's not something I was willing to sacrifice just for the dramatically easier high-degree turn flicks that come with weight savings.

I have hands 22cmx11cm and with a grip style that matches yours. It has been really challenging to find a main mouse. Currently Maining the GPX as its the closest I've found to comfortable. Im considering picking up a bigger mouse but I've got so used to the 60g of the GPX. Even 80g feels like a brick now. So if you had to chose a mouse based on your grip just with larger hands where do you think you would land?
@AmpEdition Its all preference my guy. 80g might be a brick to some and a feather to another. Ill for SURE start lifting more though. Great advice lmao.
How about the failure frequency of the main buttons? I myself have some unpleasant story with Katar Wireless and heard a lot of bad stories about Harpoon Wireless omiron switches. (I had double-click already after a month of non-intensive usage)
Thinking of getting this for use for gaming on my desktop and working on my laptop since this has a Bluetooth connection so I can just have one mice. Currently using a Logitech G Pro Superlight for gaming and Razer Basilisk X for work.
at 40$ i dont think i can find a better G305 replacement. The size/shape doesnt bother me. Im going to get one i can always return it if theres any issues.
18x10 hands here and its the most comfortable claw mouse I've used. Can't use it though because of the sensor placement, way too up front and wrist aiming feels too fast.
I always used rival 300 as mouse and loved it the pwm3310 sensor and the perfect high humb shape that comes down to the top. I'm in trouble to catch some wireless mouse and I tried a lot, gpx, viper v2 pro, shroud g303 , glorious etc but nothing is satisfacting me, do you think that is this mouse a comfortable but good in performance too? my sizes 17cm x 9cm width palm grip
i have a deathadder elite and i like the shape but its too heavy and a bit worn out. i can get the Sabre RGB Pro for ~60$ and the Wireless version for 75$. any advice?
can i ask what is adapter you are using in video ? I just got this mouse for christmas and it take 2 ports USB so annoying . Been looking for everywhere nothing found
I have a doubt, if my PC processor is an i5 10400, could I get problems because the high spec recommendation that Corsair says about use this mouse? They say they recommend an i7 or Ryzen 7, but I don't know if someone with I5 processor has had a problem with this mouse in 8khz
I got it for free in a bundle with a cosrair keyboard. Its about 5g lighter (69) and seems to have less duds compared to the wired version based on reviews. The LED indicator on the bottom for DPI mode is still there, but besides that there's no lighting on the scrollwheel, logo and the dpi indicator on the side is removed. If you are interested I'd strongly suggest not updating the firmware in icue as there is a high chance it will brick the mouse and corsair support does not have that specific firmware on hand (wtf?) Still does 8KHz.
I have MZ1 and Viper Mini now, and I need to return one cuz I can't afford 2 mice right now. I prefer everything (buttons, softwareless, etc.) on MZ1 but even when getting simmilar results in games and aim Labs, I feel more confident with Viper Mini. Which one to choose?
MZ1 is a newer shape, takes longer to adjust. Took me 2 months to fully adapt, but it's by far my favourite. But like ... I designed it with a very educated guess on what the shape should be, based on all the mice I've tried, so of course it's going to be my choice.
@@RocketJumpNinja The Fate decided, I lost bill for MZ1 and I don't think I can download pdf anywhere on this site. Anyway, no time for it as I have to go to work and return date expires when I end work. But I think I'm starting to adapt, the only thing I dislike now about the mouse is hump being so high so far back.
At last another palm ergo mouse with modern feature. Good to have an alternative to the da v2. I know there is the rival 5 too, seems like a upgrade of the rival600, any plan to review this one ( I remember the 600 was rank really high). I also hope logitech release a refresh of the 403/ 703.
G303 and M4 Wireless reviews coming?? I seriously cannot wait for the M4 wireless, interchangeable shell, weight balance, kalih 8.0s, 3370. Have been maining the M4 for a long time and while I perform the best with it, there are certainly things that need updating, mainly the side play on M1 & 2
this might just be the mouse i will buy. Its pretty affordable too. Was looking for something similar in shape to my G403 sicne i got some issues with the middle mouse button and double clicks on the left and right buttons

how do you judge this while comparing with gpw superlight and VIPER ULTIMATE
Hi Zy, I proudly use your mouse everyday, do you have plans in making an 8000Hz version of it?
Awesome! Hmm not soon, no. We talked about it, but didn't think it was worth it for now.
@@RocketJumpNinja How about one with no holes? A few grams plus.
Yo whats that mousepad? Or is that your desk, that looks awesome
I'm in trouble to catch some wireless mouse and I tried a lot, gpx, viper v2 pro, shroud g303 , glorious etc but nothing is satisfacting me, do you think that is this mouse a comfortable but good in performance too? my sizes 17cm x 9cm width palm grip
which version ICUE u were using in this video, mine does not recognized the mice
i need something with very easy to click buttons for league of legends, would this be good or something else around the same price?
is he doing full reviews again?
You did no tmention anything regardind lift off distance?
i have a deathadder elite and i like the shape but its too heavy and a bit worn out. i can get the Sabre RGB Pro for ~60$ and the Wireless version for 75$. any advice?
can i ask what is adapter you are using in video ? I just got this mouse for christmas and it take 2 ports USB so annoying . Been looking for everywhere nothing found
I have a doubt, if my PC processor is an i5 10400, could I get problems because the high spec recommendation that Corsair says about use this mouse? They say they recommend an i7 or Ryzen 7, but I don't know if someone with I5 processor has had a problem with this mouse in 8khz
Is the difference to the RGB version just the lacking RGB elements or are there some technical differences too?
I got it for free in a bundle with a cosrair keyboard. Its about 5g lighter (69) and seems to have less duds compared to the wired version based on reviews. The LED indicator on the bottom for DPI mode is still there, but besides that there's no lighting on the scrollwheel, logo and the dpi indicator on the side is removed. If you are interested I'd strongly suggest not updating the firmware in icue as there is a high chance it will brick the mouse and corsair support does not have that specific firmware on hand (wtf?) Still does 8KHz.
Hi, do you have any slow scrolling issues with this mouse? It requires me a lot of finger's energy just to scroll through Microsoft Word / Pdf etc.
Button Response Optimization On or Off ??
Can I get the link for the corsair app that you used in the video?
is this ok for smaller hands?
Are you gonna review razer naga pro, or too late?
Does the scroll wheel have L & R tilt-click function at all?
review shrouds g303 next?
Not sure about next but as soon as possible yeah
@@RocketJumpNinja noiceee cant wait then! 😅
Does this have better quality control than Glorious? I have the Model D, love the shape, but i'm on my third one this month!!!
From what I'm hearing, yes, but it's a smaller sample size on Corsair.
Please tell me how long it takes this mouse to recharge from completely flat. Thanks.
I didn't do an exact test, but I think it was 4 hours? Wasn't quick, best to just leave it on charge over night I think.
I will never buy a Corsair mouse until they make the bloat that is iCue 100% optional & reduce the bloated install size!
did you test it with a USB3 controller?
Wen is the new shroud mouse review coming out Z?
Come on its 2021 and still omron switch and black standard feet
Hey Zy, can you twist Xtrfy's arm so they release a F11/pgdn top button firmware for M42? Tried your rail mouse but it's a bit too small for my hands.
I can ask, but I don't think so...
@@RocketJumpNinja Awesome. It's such a perfect mouse for me except for that one useless button :)
I have both, too, got Viper Mini for 25 USD new on Black Friday. I think MZ1 is overall better.
3:12 I hate myself for laughing at this
hey there can you recommend a mouse in same shape with the razer diamondback plasma?
Hey Zy
Hey!
Wait you're doing mouse reviews again now?
Gonna do a few, see how it goes. Life changes all the time, I'm learning to plan less and just go with it more now.
You should review the MM731 too
for me , i do not believe in wireless for comp stuff
do you ?
Plenty of pros are using wireless now
At last another palm ergo mouse with modern feature. Good to have an alternative to the da v2. I know there is the rival 5 too, seems like a upgrade of the rival600, any plan to review this one ( I remember the 600 was rank really high). I also hope logitech release a refresh of the 403/ 703.
Zowie fk1+-c
@@Serkong FK1 is symmetrical shape. I guess you wanna said EC1-C.
@@johnspartan2096 nah I prefer that shape, ec has big bump
@@Serkong yeah G403 too,for a palm/relaxed claw grip,a bump is better.
@@johnspartan2096 maybe, but I returned my ec1-c cuz the shape felt off, too used to the superlight which I originally didn't like xd
I Love what you do !
this might just be the mouse i will buy. Its pretty affordable too. Was looking for something similar in shape to my G403 sicne i got some issues with the middle mouse button and double clicks on the left and right buttons
No review on G303 Shroud Edition ? Really ?
I don't have one yet, hopefully this week.
