This is very random, but I’d love to have a peak through your bag collection! Your white basket bag is so adorable and if you have other cute ones I’d love to see them in a video ☺️
As midweek videos - I love watching thrifting videos, gerenell cleaning organising and home decor videos, so you could make vlog style videos about your live 😊
I purchased a Knitting book years ago that had a pattern for a knitted patchwork quilt. I was only very new to knitting so this was a brilliant starter piece for me. Apart from lots of toys, etc it had so many different styles of knitting but with between 12 and 13 patches of each stitch, so that by the time I'd completed all of those squares, I'd increased not only my skillset, but it had also increased my confidence when it came to knitting. I also learnt that as I have a very loose tension, I need to use smaller needles. The one thing that I haven't managed as yet, is to knit socks! Every time I try them, I manage to get the heels inside out, no matter how many times I even try knitting the heels inside out! Mind you, I can't imagine anyone even being interested in wearing hand knitted socks nowadays, but it became such a challenge! I usually keep going until I have won a challenge, but these are one things that I admit to having beaten me! :)
I’m new to sewing and recently found you a couple of weeks ago. I’m really enjoying your content. Such lovely style and colour palette you choose. I need to find time to binge watch your old videos😀
Yes please Janelle, would love to see more mid-week behind the brand videos........as many as you can crank out! Congratulations on making your now 206000 subscribers as I type this comment. Just love your knitted popcorn stitch cardi project and would love to knit one myself. I am a regular customer of BWM for yarn. Have done a ton of popcorn stitch in a BIG crochet blanket. Can't wait to see your new opshop video. I am about to visit one of my local op shops myself; a favourite past-time. Take care, we all totally love everything you do, make....and show and tell on here! xx
Congrats on 200k subscribers, Janelle! It's always a great day when you upload a new video :) I honestly love watching whatever you post, so I look forward to whatever you have planned!
I have been watching your videos for a couple of weeks now. I love your style. Your tutorials are great. Your thrift shopping makes it fun. I also like the patterns you have designed and look forward to more. Great job. Hugs
I enjoy all of the videos. Tutorial. Behind the brand. Knitting. Thrift store vlogs. They are very inspirational and make me want to create my own wardrobe!!!
Congratulations on 200K subscribers! I would like to see occasional tutorials on machine techniques for example making buttonholes, additional uses for overlockers etc. Perhaps some repair videos such as replacing a zip. A kid's range or sewing for kids would be cute in your colour palette. I'm visualising your current patterns in miniature form. Cute unisex pants and jumpsuits, dresses etc.
I hope and pray your business continues to grow and prosper as the months go by! You are truly an inspiration and I absolutely LOVE the content you put out!
Dear Janelle, thank you for your videos, they are so very inspiring, your advices are so needed and useful, I always start my day with you videos ... good luck in everything you do !!! you can make stories about everything, your food habits, your city / country where you live, your hobby (away from fabrics and sewing ;-)) thank you, and good luck again, best wishes, Natia from Belgium
There used to be a farm in New Zealand that had fancy eggs. They used to fly them to LA where they arrived before they had been laid. (Because of the international date line)
Hey Janelle! I love your cardigan, it’s coming along so beautifully, and I love seeing you get comfortable altering knitting patterns as well as sewing patterns!. I’m a big knitter as well, and I was wondering if you’ve ever tried continental knitting? It looks like the way you’ve adapted as a left hand knitter is really similar to this style, since you tension the yarn with your left hand and form stitches with the right, but with continental knitting you don’t have to “throw” the yarn in the same way, and you can utilize a bit more of a “flicking” technique, which can help build speed and reduce some wrist strain if you are ever looking to try something new! Lovely video as always, and I learn so much about sewing by watching your channel. 💞
Thanks for the suggestion! My mum is trying to teach me continental knitting and I’m practicing, but it still hasn’t ‘clicked’ for me yet. I’m determined to use it though as it looks so much quicker! x
@@RoseryApparel It’s a lovely technique once you get the hang of it, but it does take that time to click. Based on the little bit of knitting in the video, it looks like you have a lot of it figured out in terms of hand position, and I think once you get that “flicking” motion as you tension the yarn you’ll be all set! When I was learning the style, I just tried to find as many youtube videos of proficient continental knitters as I could, and watching the rhythm they got into helped it click for me, but everyone learns differently. Best of luck, I’m sure you’ll be a pro at it in no time!
Rosery Apparel watch Expression Fiber Arts. It’s a yarn company based in the US but the owner has lots of videos in here and she’s great to just sit and watch sometimes. She even has a few videos specifically on continental knitting and it’s her preferred method so she’s quite at ease when working.
Your basket is so darling! I really enjoyed seeing you package things up and seeing how your work week goes. It's very cosy to watch with a cup of tea :) I'd love to know more about how you plan your videos! It all seems so organised!
I can't knit, but I crochet! I saw somewhere a tutorial on how to do a popcorn stitch & I can't wait to try making a cardigan like yours! Thank you for the inspiration!
Midweek vids - now you are just planning on spoiling us! I would love some small instruction videos; zippers, facings... it would be amazing! Also, can't wait for my patterns to be delivered as I had an email to say they made it to the UK today!
Wow, that was pretty quick! Hopefully you won’t have to wait too much longer! Thanks for purchasing, lovely 😊 And yes! I love the idea of sharing some sewing basics videos 🧡 x
My daughter and I are new subscribers who found you through your "what I made in 2020" video. We love your work. DD is a brand new seamstress and is excited to pick one of your patterns for her first dress 🥰
Congratulations on having over 200,000 subscribers and thank you for another fantastic video it was a nice surprise to have extra viewing. I would look forward to up-cycling videos and charity shop hauls. As we are yet again in lock down here in England and cannot go out unless it is for food shopping. So to have a peek in to what other people are doing with their time is very refreshing. xxx
Congratulations on your achievement of 200k followers. I really enjoyed watching how you knitted your bobbles on your sweater. No gapping, very interesting!💞💞💞
Hi Janelle! Congratulation with the 200k! You are one of the main reason I have started on sewing now as a hoppy. A video request or a question in a video could be about sewing machines. Not a specific machine, but what a machine should could do, if you want to start sewing. Just an idea 😊 (mostly because I'm borrowing my mother in law machine now and I need to buy one soon 😅)
I'm crocheting a Moroccan style blanket while watching this video. Once that's done I'm definitely going to start knitting cardi's and jumpers for Autumn. I'm in South Australia and it's 36° where I live and I'm in a trackie. It's funny how different the weather can be in one country and how we cope with it differently. Have a great day 😊xx
I like this idea for the behind the brand video. I saw the end result of your cardigan one of your latest videos. If I ever learn to knit I'd love to make this one.
Congrats on 200K!!! I really enjoy watching these behind the brand videos. They inspire me so much. Thanks for uploading this mid week video, im looking forward to more of these.
You are just an absolute sweetheart. I lovely the behind the brand video and I’m totally inspired by the knitting! Thank you for sharing this stuff with us 🙏
Love your channel and these midweek videos as well! Recently came across your channel and have watched your videos ever since. Im going to buy a sewing machine soon and getting to know so much about sewing with your videos!
Hi Janelle, I would love to see a video on how to tweak patterns for another type of neckline (i.e. I prefer scoop, U, boat and different collars) or sleeves. Or on how to take in or widen the waist/bust/hips. Love your videos!
Yes, more pattern hacking videos are in the works! 😄 As for different sleeves, I have already shared a video here: ruclips.net/video/Q7IG9gAfn5k/видео.html
Congrats on 200k subscribers! I would love to see some videos about what life is like in Tasmania. I'm in San Francisco, California and while I imagine a lot of aspects of life are the same no matter where one finds oneself, I have never met anyone from Tasmania and I know so little about it. Would love to learn more!
I'm glad to see how you make these bobbles! I have been drooling over this cardigan! I'm knitting a sweater as I watch this! You may (or not) look into continental knitting (and norwegian purling changed my knitting game!) Since you hold the yarn in your left hand anyways. ❤
Congrats on the 200k milestone! Love this type of video as well as the week end ones. Right now over here we have the cold winter, a lock down AND an 8pm curfew so if you have any sunny beach footage..even if it's just a few seconds..
Hi Jannel, I have a suggestion of videos I would be interested in. What about some surprise mid week video on common mistakes especially for beginners and how to fix them?
Congratulations on 200k subscribers! You’ve worked so hard - well done! You have inspired me to check the thrift shops for tablecloths, sheets, duvet covers....look beyond the fabric rack/bin. 😁
