- Stop in to check out a couple Crown & Buckle Chevron watch straps. These straps are advertised as being a "game changer." This review takes a detailed look at what makes them different and whether or not the marketing is hype or reality. We'll look at full specs, installation/adjustment process, and what they're like on the wrist. The straps are featured on a Zelos Mako V3 in the Ice colorway and a Zelos Swordfish in the Bronze Meteorite colorway.

I’m in! I dislike perlon even though I like the weave because the irregular notches bother me. I have an incoming bronze meteorite Swordfish and you’ve convinced me this strap is perfect.
Congrats on the incoming SF Hannah! This strap really is the alternative for those that like the idea of NATO's or Perlons but don't prefer them for various reasons: thickness, tail, weave, looks, etc.

I think that pairing would work well! These straps are pretty darn versatile, especially in the pictured patterns. I wasn't sure if I'd love the tweed look in person but it's pretty great!

I do like to wear a Nato , but never tried a perlon strap before and all my nato's are cheap ones bought from eBay which I've always been happy with , but would happily try these :) i'm in - there's a lot of zelos owners here lol , think the 20mm would look fantastic on one of my V3 makos , SS green , and both SS teal and burgundy bronze hopefully landing next Monday :)
Thanks Alan! I think you'd like these if you currently enjoy NATOs. They kind of remind me of a mashup between a NATO, Perlon, and canvas 2 piece. It's tough to go wrong with a Mako 😁

I'm in man! If I had the 22 it would go on my bronze SF meteorite! The 20 would look great on my nova, I believe! Finally a nato that doesn't add so much thickness to the watch 👍
You can strap anything on those two and they're going to look great 😄 I agree, I was pumped to discover how little they impacted the height. I seriously can't even tell it's under the case 99% of the time!
@@JonathanTReviews that's great!! I have never had a nato I like because of it. I have small wrists as well. My bronze SF meteorite is the blue meteorite, so that grey will fit great!

They offer bronze options now. Only four colors and it says limited so I ordered one quick!

Great video very informative and detailed! I have a Chevron Fifty Strap on my Tudor BB58 and I couldn't agree more with your comments 10/10. My wrists are only small at 6.69 inches and yet I was able to get the strap to loop into both the keepers after some adjustments? Keep up the great work! Stay safe and Happy Holidays!

That's amazing on all levels! The SF40 and Mako wear differently (I have reviews of each on my channel, if you haven't seen them yet) but are a similar overall size and both great! Not everyone loves bronze but I personally like them a lot. They feel more alive, at they each develop their own character over time. If you're new to the channel and/or not already subscribed, I will be steadily adding new content including a variety of Zelos pieces. Cheers!

My first watch I bought is a Steinhart Ocean One 39mm double green. This watch is the closest homage of the Rolex Submariner Green Hulk.

My second watch is the Seiko SARB033 which I bought from a guy in Carrosell.
My third watch to buy is the Zelos Mako V3 Blue Dial which is now out of stock. Can check with you this watch 40.5mm will it be too big for my 6 and quarter inch wrist?

Welcome to hobby! It sounds like you're well on your way to a great collection. The Mako wears very well on most wrist sizes. Mine as an example is only a bit larger than yours at around 6.5". The short lug to lug (distance from top of the watch to bottom of the watch, when looking at the dial) increases the versatility. Many people find 40mm to be a sweet spot for watch size, though part of it comes down to preference. I think you'll like the Mako!
