Man when ever I hear "playstation" at the end of commercials it puts a smile on my face :-)

It is a rhetorical question that infers the idea that all people have the capability of greatness, regardless of whatever limitations life has dealt you. I cried when I watched this Ad for the first time, and realized how awesome being a gamer is. Especially if you are part of Playstation Nation fever since the PS1 era.

The funny thing is the ad I had to watch before this video was a really stupid Xbox One commercial. Playstation commercials are always better. I love the live action ones.

Quite right I always tell my kids there are two kinds of people in the world. The people that do stuff and the people that watch other people do stuff on TV. then I ask them which kind do they want to be. To which they mockingly respond "the people that watch TV"
At 1:16 you see deslin( infamous: second son's main character) thats why the two guys had smoke after coming out of the air and into the ground.
WTF? Sooo, I'm not all into the illuminati hype but man. So you got the 36 right off the bat...3 sixs for the number on the building. The girl has a skull on her shirt then the dude with the bones shirt...skull and crossbones? Then the Egyptian cross thingy then the building says rapture on it.
You can see Knack in the background at like 1:28, just to the left of the bottom of the ferris wheel. He's in his giant form.

well actually statistically the 360 number of sold - I remember seeing in an article had been caught up with by the PS3. Which was in the article, they said was good achievement. Due to the PS3 not being out as long as the 360. Obviously the Wii shifted the most copies until it could no longer shift them- and was actually the number one.

You're forgetting the fact that all of a certain console (PS4 for example) has EXACTLY the same hardware which allows developing games to be tested more thoroughly and designed more efficiently.
On the PC, games need to be designed to be compatible with all sorts of different hardware.

I didn't get 1 feeling from this commercial that I wanted to buy a PS4 and yet they spent a lot of money on it. The one that really got me excited was the "This is how to share a game on the PS4". And I wonder how expensive that one was to make.

yeaa true, but the game prices compared to what you pay for the membership its like if it was free because 5 bucks a month for free 60 dollar games ( NOT ALL OF THEM ) is basically free

Very true, for use of mutiplayer you need plus, but for $5 a month really isn't a setback given all the free games and other deals they throw at your face.
Yeah it is, watch the how to share a game they showed at the conference. At the moment it talks about it. And they are doing it because they need more servers for Gaikai, servers are not cheap.
No, some PS2 players went over to the XBox and the XBox 360. People who held the PS franchise in high regards, like me (but I was poor at that time), didn't. We waited until the PS3 came out. We waited until the price was cut. We waited and were gifted the ultimate gaming console of the generation. AND WE SHALL GO FOR GREATNESS ONCE MORE!

If you watch the conference they do say that you need ps+ for ps4 multiplayer, ps3 multiplayer will stay free however

You can play off-line games without paying for a membership, yes. That's moot because every console can do that. Why would you think that's important? He never said you can't on Xbox. He said the only thing you *need* PSN+ for is to play multiplayer, while the rest is all available, including video streaming services (not on Xbox).

I think that's the problem with the One. Instead of being a gaming console it sounds more like a PC with more restrictions. However I personally wouldn't like being stuck with a game I didn't like after spending $60 on it. I would at least like some of that money back.

The ad on this video was the same exact thing I was going to watch
50x9= $450, 50x7=$350, $350+$450=$800
What I spent in the last two years:
Year 1: 3 x 45= $135, 5x20= $100, 4x5= $20.
Year 2: 2 x 45=$90, 4 x 15= $60, 5x5=$25, all those numbers added up is $430 spent in games, I just saved $370 in games.
Like I said, PC is best choice in the LONG RUN, you pay less for the console but spend a shit ton on games, I spend a shit ton on my PC (mind you the only time I will ever pay that much for it again) and spend little on games.

1metalgearsolid and you are both correct. You will be able to sign in and chat with friends on PSN and even use netflix but if you want to play MP on BF4 then you will need PS+

yes, i can actually, i just started playing the witcher 2 because it was on sale on steam and i can say with complete honesty that it is by far the most beautiful game i have ever seen in my life, it puts bf3 to shame, you should look at some gameplay on ultra when you get a chance, but not on youtube since quality is bad, it really is amazing though

You are forgetting games like Dark Cloud 1&2 on the PS2, Valkyria Chronicles on the PS3, and other JRPGs like Persona, Final Fantasy(14, 15 and 16 on the PS4)etc that you can never play on an XBOX. :)
I love RPGs and PlayStation has them...
(I hope the PS4 Gaikai Games Library will have the Classics)
