    Ive been carving for a few years, thanks to youtube, lol for all the videos, I enjoy yours the most. very calm and easy to keep up, love it, keep up the great content, and one thing i also noticed is your almost the only guy that stresses out safety, i cringe watching these other advanced carvers with no gloves, lol thanks

    New subscriber here. Just watched this tonight and I'll watch it again tomorrow and carve along with you. Are you starting with a 1 inch by 1 inch piece of basswood or is it wider?
