I feel like the reason they remade 1 and 2, and added a prequel wasn’t just to remake them, it was to make them more accessible to people coming into the series, and so they could reconstruct the plot of Kiryu and Majima’s path to the characters we know. You’ve got to remember, those came out just shortly after the series was getting basically no support in the west, it was a massive expensive blast into a market argument Ryu Ga Gotoku studios had basically no experience in, so I really doubt they’re going to remake any of the other titles. Closest we’ll probably ever get is more remasters. And I’m fine with that. The games are playable as is, and they don’t need remakes.
Awesome list. One of my favorite things in RGG series is how they start to silently play boss theme while scene still going and when battle starts boss theme always in the perfect spot. My personal favorites are Kazuma vs Daigo in RGG4 and Kazuma vs Tojo Clan in RGG5.
XellosDarkSlayer Except the fight against Tojo Clan in RGG5 has no Dynamic Opening. By Dynamic Opening, I mean the ones that link the cutscene with the gameplay, like the ones you see in this video.

Dude... When Kiryu seen the state Tachibana was in, you could see the anger practically radiating off him. He was pissed and it was known. They cut no corners in 0 and it was amazing
No wonder the final fight from Yakuza Kiwami didn't make it - this video was made long before then. It definitely warrants a place on this list, as much as I loved most of the fights from Yakuza 0.
In the Majima Saga of Kiwami 2, which admittedly is pretty bare-bones compared to the rest of the game, the final boss has the most hype buildup and dynamic intro for Majima. It's amazing.
I love that look Kuze gives Kiryu during the Tachibana sequence, for a brief second you can tell he's actually shitting himself cause he knows Kiryu is getting stronger.
The Yakuza 4 fight with Kiryu, Akiyama, and Tanimura (the Hiroki Narimiya version too ❤️), while a little out of nowhere and kinda silly since they should both know who he is or at least have seen what he looks like before, is still an absolutely hype scene and a great way to bring the three together. The Saejima one is amazing in every way, shows Kiryu’s more…spunky side, he’s smug cause of the experience he’s had and also because of the fact he likes Saejima’s determination. The intro itself had me exited and blown away we were fighting Kiryu as someone else. 0’s intros, man…seeing them for the first time was like seeing something so new to me I couldn’t even say anything while I was streaming it to friends. It just blew me away that much. Every single one is amazing in its own way, from the camera work, to the dialogue.
Yea this was pretty accurate considering Kiwami hadn't been released back then, cuz I for sure think Nowadays Nishikiyama would be one of my favorite dynamics, and the Kei Ibuchi one too that one was nice

YAKUZA 7 SPOILERS: If I had to update this for the present day, the fight introduction where Ichiban just rocks Kiryu in the face and Kiryu just stands there and doesn't move as his title card drops in is probably my new favorite in the entire franchise. So goddamn cool.
You chose Kiryu vs Mine as number 1 and I felt that's one of the weakest in my opinion. Kiryu vs Shibusawa is my favorite by far, and the lore behind it is so powerful. Since this video was posted, Kiwami 2 came out, and I loved Majima vs Ibuchi. Majima dodging bullets at point blank range is godlike.
Great list. it's almost similar to how I ranked them but for me #10 would be replaced with Akiyama vs Arai just because Aki kept his shirt on, that always made me laugh. #5 would be replaced with the Daigo/Kiryu rematch. And #1 would be Taiga vs that gigantic bear. I can't remember if it had a dynamic intro, fighting the urge to replay it till the western release, but the look of excitement and fear on my little brother's face as he was watching me play when that scene started was enough to make Taiga vs The Bear one of the most memorable boss fights.
devilleon7 And at that exact moment where their feets aren't on the ground. *"Fly" started playing. Too perfect :D P/S: The final battle with Shibusawa had that too but unlike Y3 where Kiryu already matured as a Dragon. In that scene, you could see Kiryu's hands slowly turning into a "claw", signifying his destiny as the Dragon of Dojima after that match.

Nevermind I just realised kiwami 2 came after this video (my bad) but that intro is still hype
I think number 1 is in the right place I loved that one
مبروك 850 مشترك تستاهل والله D:
legend LGD الله يبارك فيك, تسلم :D
two. fucking. dragons.
I freaking love these!!!
Goddamn this reminded me of how great part 4 was. I think that one's my favourite in the whole series.
Loved this video devilleon7!!
Kiryu vs majima in the cage had a awesome Intro. Sad that it didn't make it
Kiryu and Shibusawa is absolutely the best in the entire series if you include the build-up from the cutscene
M A S S I V E M A N. it was the first dynamic intro i saw lol
№1 is the right choice ya did))) only there was so much feelings through they're talk, so much drama & only there was epic music))) when ya fight in this final battle in Yakuza 3 & plays that music, it's somehow fight not Kiryu, it's ya fighting against him))) I watched so many times that battle in different videos))) this is epic & tense battle Yakuza have! :D Ya did a great video Leon! Ya have my thanks! :D
LarsJunFan Oleg Troitskii Yep, I love Number one, it's filled with emotions and feelings which makes the fight and the music even more epic than they originally are. That intro was something really really amazing at the time, something that blew my mind from how manly and awesome it was xD
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video :D
OH YEAH, don't forget yakuza 4 ending battle with Kiryu and Daigo... that was rad
Can we talk about how Kuze's so good that he's in here multiple times?
and how half the vid is yakuza 0 XD
I think the fight with Ryuji Goda should have been number one... But nice video bro. Keep going i am a yakuza serie fan
God damn I love yakuza 4
Beautiful
last bossfight in the majima chapter of kiwami 2 is amazing! has to be one of the best.
6:40 It was very kind of the motorcycle to face it's light down the tunnel so that the audience could see the fight properly.
You know a fight is coming when someone screams....
Great list. it's almost similar to how I ranked them but for me #10 would be replaced with Akiyama vs Arai just because Aki kept his shirt on, that always made me laugh.
Kiryu vs Nishki at the end of Kiwami 1 was my favorite hands down.
Kiryu is a freaking beast. Tanked a speeding iron pipe swing from a motorcycle and another iron pipe swing after that and still kick Kuze's ass.
yakuza 0 is just a masterpiece, it is the best in every aspect, in game story , fights, bosses, yakuza is still my number 1 on all yakuza series .
3 still gives me chills.
I wonder what the next subscriber special will be
(leans back in chair and ponders)
14:33 first time i played this fight i was dissapointed that the whole fight wasn’t with handcuffs, could’ve made for some real interesting combat.
The kuze sewer fight from yakuza 0 will always be number 1 for me
the sewer fight between kiryu and kuze always gets me pumped
Pledge of Demon is such a badass song
9:15 my favourite intro in yakuza ishin
I was confused as to why there wasn’t any Kiwami 2 intros on the list but then i realised the date the video was made.
1:33 I love Majima's face here
Mine as No.1. YES!!!
And their "claws" at 21:13 look just like their two mystical beings counterpart, a Dragon and a Kirin ready to claw each other eyes out :D
Dan Hyang Wow, I never even paid attention to their hands or thought of them as claws.. xD
devilleon7 And at that exact moment where their feets aren't on the ground. *"Fly" started playing. Too perfect :D
P/S: The final battle with Shibusawa had that too but unlike Y3 where Kiryu already matured as a Dragon. In that scene, you could see Kiryu's hands slowly turning into a "claw", signifying his destiny as the Dragon of Dojima after that match.
Majima vs Lao Gui and Kiryu vs Saejima are amongst my favourite badass fights
Seriously you didn't include nishki vs kiryu? That is one of the most badass title cards of any yakuza game.
