They also went as far as to create a fan-game of Mario where you play as the skinned tanuki and you have to catch Mario to take your fur back.

I've been looking for the GameStop key chain for a long time. So many fond memories of this game.
I asked mom for this in 2011, but i bought one (the original xl) in 2013. That broke in 2014.
Got the new 3ds xl in 2016.
Died in 2018
I got my 3ds in 2011 and got it stolen in 2015. Never got another one since, still want one though.
i’ve had three 3dses and all of them have broken (broken when dropped in snow, broke on the way out of a place) and/or died (died in 2022)
