As someone who’s played Just Dance for over a decade, I thought it’d be interesting to mention that when Just dance 2020 came out, the Wii version of the game pulled more than 20% of the total sales during opening week, not more than switch (55%) but still more than PS4 and Xbox ONE. The only reason why they couldn’t keep bringing JD games to Wii was because Nintendo shut down Wii game production, otherwise we would most likely still be getting those every year.
10:10 Hello, Japanese learner here. That’s a kids game to help kids learn how to read kanji. The gameplay’s really simple. They show a word and you select the letters that spell out how the kanji’s read.
Might be because the same team made Retro City Rampage, and in both cases, they felt like releasing on an older platform just for the joke of them making a retro-style game. In case of Shakedown Hawaii, it's the Wii - but in case of RCR, they made a full-on DOS version (as in, it can run on actual MS-DOS with 486 processor, not just DOS-looking)
Yes, Gold and Silver outside of South Korea will work on older Game Boy systems. Nintendo marketed them as Game Boy Color games, but they play on other systems, just without the optional Mystery Link. Several games marketed as Game Boy Color games have Dual Mode to work on older systems. Due to this, outside of Japan, Ronaldo V-Soccer was the final game for the original Game Boy.

Also I'd highly reccomend you watch the Famidaily episode on Metal Slader Glory for the Famicom if you want more context on that game as it's a historically important game.
Metal Slader Glory is very important as it's commercial failure caused HaL to become intertwined with Nintendo. You should make like maybe some RUclips shorts of the footage of you dancing to that just dance 2020 game because the way you're describing it it sounds like it'd be a lot of fun to watch. I was just way too late to finding your channel
Form my limited knowledge, the doraemon game seems to be about matching up the hirigana (the phonetic alphabet of japanese) to the kanji (chinese characters that were adapted into Japanese to make distinguishing words easier when there is not context). An example of kanji can be 一 which can be written as いち.
That kanji one looks like basically a "word learning" thing but for Kanji (Chinese characters). TLDR Japanese uses Chinese characters as well as 2 phonetic alphabets - in this game you pick the correct sound (represented by the phonetic alphabet) that adheres to the the Chinese character.
That damn wall, ceiling, what it was from NES' Wario's Woods, use to be some terrifying. An example of creepiness in what looks like a cutesy game. The NES was just known for the darkness in their otherwise eerily cute looking games... Others are just so melancholic.
Wow I didn't expect to see Little Big and Billie Eilish on an official Wii game O.o I wish you mentioned the aftermarket for the older consoles, though.
You're totally wrong on 3DS as well. There were multiple very late production run games released for the 3DS in 2022 and I think one even came out in 2023. Andro Dunos 2 was one of them, the Atooi Collection from Limited Run, Go Go Kokopolo (I have a review video on those games on my channel) and 1-2 others I can't recall at the moment. They were all indie games that were made in the final batch of cartridges produced by Nintendo, which I think happened in 2022 - definitely after your 2021 game Edit: as for New3DS, the reason they had to charge 8 cents is just because of Nintendo's rules. Third-party developers were not allowed to make free apps/games, because they figured that would lead to abuse - you were required to put a price. The only free downloads came from Nintendo directly. 8 cents was likely the absolute lowest they could set it to. But again this is kind of a misleading premise as the New3DS is simply a 3DS with more RAM/CPU power - all 3DS games run in a New 3DS, so the final 3DS titles are also the final New3DS titles. Just like the black Game Boy games that worked in DMG/GBC
Pokemon Gold and Silver released after Yellow and were GB games not GBC exclusive games. They just had the same treatment as links awakening dx where the colors were enhanced
I would say, for the last game on the original Game Boy, Pokémon Gold and Silver released a year after Yellow, and those games were playable on the OG GB since they were produced on OG GB cartridges, however, the games were meant to be played on GBC since the games had color. I would still argue they are newer games that were playable on the OG GB than Yellow. Pokémon Crystal would be made only for the GBC and not playable on an OG GB. The last true games made and playable on the OG GB, according to my research, are "Shikakui Atama o Maruku Suru: Kanji no Tatsujin" and "Shikakui Atama o Maruku Suru: Keisan no Tatsujin". I'm assuming these are all North American releases, not overall releases, which I would say is a bit misleading since someone in Japan might have a different lilst of 'last release' than someone in NA or EU. As feedback for this video, maybe you should specify that somewhere. You only mentioned it once, maybe twice, and it was for Madden 08 in NA and Ratatouille in EU for Game Cube. Let's keep in mind that Yellow was the last North American and PAL release in 1999 and 2000, respectively, and the 2 Japanese titles were overall the last games, releasing in 2001.

The last Game and Watch game was actually The Legend of Zelda in 2021 for the 35th anniversary, although it was a compilation of Zelda 1, 2, and Link's Awakening. Plus there was no reason to get the N64 version of Tony Hawk 3 because the GameCube and PS2 versions came out in November 2001
14:48 You mistakened graphical technicality for art direction
Unofficially the N64 got Xeno Crisis this year. A very cool top down shooter. Hard as h3ll.
And there was Portal 64 but it got took down from Valve
if we count fanmade games then there's still games made on the NES, SNES and other consoles to this day...
You should make like maybe some RUclips shorts of the footage of you dancing to that just dance 2020 game because the way you're describing it it sounds like it'd be a lot of fun to watch. I was just way too late to finding your channel
The official final NES game was The Lion King in Europe, on May 12th, 1995.
I was hoping you'd also mention the Limited Run Games releases for those old consoles since TECHNICALLY those are the actual final releases.
What’s the music playing in the background while your showing just dance 2020
Minor circuit, Little Mac soundtrack
Frogger was in 1998.
I feel like the Switch is still producing bangers
These last games are a mix of good games and shovelware.
Wow I didn't expect to see Little Big and Billie Eilish on an official Wii game O.o
I wish you mentioned the aftermarket for the older consoles, though.
Can you do one but with the first?
I would love to!
13:56 I felt it in my bones that either a MJ or Rush Hour reference was coming.
They were all indie games that were made in the final batch of cartridges produced by Nintendo, which I think happened in 2022 - definitely after your 2021 game
Edit: as for New3DS, the reason they had to charge 8 cents is just because of Nintendo's rules.
You played let’s go and then the game they based let’s go off of! Nice video dude!
9:24 It's actually 8-bit. Looks amazing though.
According to the Angry Video Game Nerd, Wasn’t Sunday Funday the last game ever made for the NES and it came out in 1995?
Quality video man! You deserve more views!
@@thedinogamer_fn3073 Thanks a ton!
AVGN say Sunday Funday is the final NES game
Actually the last GBC Game was Grimaces birthday released a year ago
Star Fox 2 is an honorable mention for the SNES as it wasn’t made available until the SNES Classic
5:35 wrong, gold silver is last, you can play it on normal gameboy so that made it the last tame
Pokemon Gold and Silver released after Yellow and were GB games not GBC exclusive games. They just had the same treatment as links awakening dx where the colors were enhanced
PLS REVIEW MORE GAMES!!! i love the way you review these games (idea for next video???: ps2 shovelware, or any console shovelware)
I got plenty more coming!
Amazing that any dev would think to make a game on the Wii U after the Switch launched
Game boy color is 8bit not 32bit??¿
@@TheGrassyDirtBlock 😬 oops
The gba was a 32 bit console so he prob got confused
Isn’t Kirby’s adventure the last nes game? That game came out in 1993 I believe.
3:41 have you heard about a game called kirbys dreamland 3 or even though you said in america kirby no kira kira kids (kirby super star stacker)
Actually the last third party game released in the US WAS Frogger...released in 1998.
What if I told you that Wario Woods was the last game in the us? Europe got a few extra games.
Why does the voice sound like ai but good video!
The final game for the NES was "Disney's The Lion King", not "Wario's Woods".
that shakedown hawaii one sounds like it could be good i bet they have it on the switch as well
NES:The Lion King(NES)(MAY.25.1995)
GB:Pokémon Gold Version and Pokémon Silver Version(OCT.15.2000)
