The cop was defending himself. The dog was threatening him. Some dogs jump you out of the blue...it happened to me.
A lot of these aren't doorbell videos, they are security camera videos- both are great at catching criminals, but unfortunately, very few security cameras will alert you that there's movement. Best to spend the extra money for the ones that do give alerts.

Porch pirates got so much worse after covid because now the drivers don't actually come to your apartment unit.
They leave all my packages on a table inside the lobby of my apartment building.
Multiple hundreds of dollars in computer parts and video game consoles have just been left where anyone can swipe them.
And neighbors HAVE done it before. One took an empty box that had DELL emblazoned on it.
Had to file a complaint. Lucky for me that box was empty because it was the box to ship my Alienware gaming laptop off for repairs.
So they got a lease infraction and a very stern warning to keep their sticky fingers off other peoples' packages and I got my box back, albeit on a Friday, so I couldn't actually ship til Monday.
That sir was a water hose.
I've no doubt that bear could have gotten into that chicken coop.
In that last video I would be going to prison for the rest of my life if a cop comes up on my porch brutally kicking my dog.

Last video of the “cops” could piss off the Pope! Dog was doing what he was supposed to do and protect the house. Pup may have had a bad vibe from the cops and began barking and running at the cop. How much QUICKER could that cop get angry?! The dog is hurt, probably pretty badly. And the cop destroyed some decor. I would have cringed to see what he would do if he got angry at a person! If the folks are gone, they should have secured their pup inside the house instead of outside, knowing he may bite someone. If these two are actually police, the kicker-cop definitely needs anger management and counseling sessions with time off work, unpaid, for bad behavior! He is the kind of person, with his behavior, that makes the entire force look bad. He needs to be brought up on vandalism and animal cruelty charges. He needs to be fired.

Those “cops” at the end fully don’t seem like cops like who’s ever seen pouches mid chest height (one of them fully looks like a kids hard hat) I’ve watched so much police body cams, first 48hrs etc even the US marshals and fugitive task force officers tactical gear never looks like that, the whole thing seems fishy AF like kicking the dog/kicking the sh*t out the porch decorations the aggression on his face literally looks like he was about to beat down harder on the door etc all with a VISIBLE ring camera thank GOD for that neighbour, her distracting them getting them away from the porch and her saying I’ve got the owners phone number “but she has me blocked” yet says she knows they aren’t in is tbh the polar opposite of factual if you think about it she’s close enough to them to 1. Have their phone number but 2. The owner has her blocked yet 3. She knows they’re definitely not home doesn’t make sense which surely if they’re actually cops would’ve connected those dots fairly quickly that the neighbours probably bullsh*tting which was brilliant of her considering the owner had their dog loose on the porch & their screen door open; you’d not do either of those things if you weren’t home! Tbh as soon as that dogs been booted then bolstered with the trashing of the porch no matter if I despised my neighbours I’d do and/or say whatever to protect that dog ; if he’d brutally kicked that dog/ do that kicking + stamping to a plastic tree then wtf would that anger do to a person.. fully makes me think they’re not cops the “uniform” is just totally off- tbh the whole thing is scary.. even more so if they actually *are* cops😣
