Love the hilt! I didn't realize how great powder coating looked!
This is my first time with powder coat, I'm really happy with how it turned out.
The finish on it creates the coolest vibe, it changes into a better version!

That Fury looks nice bro I see why you choose that Saber. A sweet looking Dark Side Saber. That emitter with those vents is sweet. Shame about the blade not being the correct blade. Another great video bro

@@themeparkdna683 everything seems to be healing well. It’s now the scabbing that is annoying but can’t help that. It will fall off on its own lol. You getting anymore mystery boxes from anyone anytime soon?
Proffie board and Neopixel upgrade would make this saber PERFECT.
I thought about doing neopixel, it is an option for the thread in led blade. Probably would have turned out better because pixel blades have less heat.
that emitter jumped out at me on their website, gonna build a custom saber based off the emitter, and your brown coating looks amazing on weathered, makes me wonder how cool a white acrylic powder coat on weathered would look!
Only transparent powdercoats will show the weathering. If you got it weathered and then they put on the white acrylic, it would cover up the weathering.
They won't weather after powder coat I don't think.

Me too, basically I like every part of it. If only I had a thread in led blade to go with it.

Yeah, turns out, unbeknownst to me when I ordered, they've had problems with both versions of the thread in led blade. They pulled them from the website and told me that a v3 version would drop soon. The new blade is supposed to fix the problems. They said they weren't supposed to have shipped mine until the new blades were live and that they would ship me a blade when they go live "next wekk". They said that a couple of weeks ago and they aren't live on the website yet.

I have been looking for sabers for a while and that fury is definitely one of the coolest I’ve seen. My all time favorite lightsaber though is Obi-Wans in revenge of the sith. I don’t have any good lightsabers like that but I’ve always been interested in the concept. You should to an unboxing of the battle brick pach store saber. (And maybe do a giveaway on it) I believe your channel will grow greatly
Yeah, I love Obi Wan's saber too! That brand new SF Redemption looks awesome and so does the one from the Pach Store. I thought about that Lego themed saber, maybe I can talk my son into doing a Lego Stsr Wars character for Halloween. Thanks for watching!
The detail in the hilt is amazing. I’ve been looking into purchasing my first lightsaber of this caliber or possibly a kit to complete my MR Obi-wan hilt. I’m hoping to have the build complete before the premier of the Kenobi series.

@@themeparkdna683 it’s a 2006 Master Replica ROTS hilt, when I saw it was empty and knowing the series was coming out in a few months from that point I thought to myself I bet I can make it complete again. From what I’ve seen others do and might be my best chance is make it an in-hilt conversion with a removable blade. It’ll be a first for me so I’m both nervous and excited hoping I don’t mess something up.
@@BowserFX89 I'll bet it'll turn out good. I haven't done a Master conversion yet, but I know several people who have have. Let me know how it goes!

No, there just isn't any RGB options for the thread in led blades. The extra blades are $75 each for the blade and led included. I thought about ordering a blade in green once the v3 thread in led blades go live.
This could be a cool project to do with my son, I need to get him into more star wars stuff lol 😂
Yeah my son really likes the lightsabers but isn't as interested in all things Star Wars, yet.

What is the benefit of single colour vs RGB?
I didn't build this one literally, but I customized it on the website with the powder coat. You can build it in that you can order an empty and then install the electronics. Also, you can "build" a saber by using the ASP tool to order different ASP parts and have SF assemble and put electronics in. Yet another option is to order the ASP parts, then assemble and then install electronics.

I don’t know why, but I can’t imagine this saber in the hands of a Jedi. It just has sith written all over it.
I imagine that it could have been created by a Jedi Guardian during the Sith Wars. Hardened by years of war and lightsaber duels. His saber from his trials being destroyed by a sith in a duel, he creates a saber made purely for battle, maybe borrowing a few design elements from his enemies. After much conflict and many victories, he falls in a huge battle. Maybe this saber was found years later just before the Dark Times, before the Empire.
That's just how I imagined it when I ordered it. You're right, it looks more Sithy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it. I look at it often and think, that's definitely a Sith weapon. I just prefer my little bit of head canon for it.

Woah, it kinda looks like it was made from spare parts,especially the area right under the emitter. It really does look amazing. Aren't the screw in blades getting reworked or something?
Yeah, that's how I found out about that. I sent an email about them sending the wrong blade. They replied and said that due to problems with v1 and v2 versions of the thread in led blades, they pulled them both from the website. They said that a v3 version was supposed to drop soon and that they would send me a new blade when they go live on the website.

@@themeparkdna683 can you not use the blade for the saber unless it is screw on?
@@freeflite7876 I can put a regular blade in and use the blade retention screw to hold it in but it doesn't light up. The led is in the blade in the screw in led blades. I've done it to get a feel for the weight of the blade.
@@themeparkdna683 Rip, if I got a lightsaber and i couldn't use a lit up blade then there goes the first impression. At the very least the hilt is pretty cool.
Hey, just wondering, what percent of your sabers do you actually keep? I would love to do videos like this but don’t know how to not go into crazy dept by buying all of these! Also where do you sell your sabers?
I don't buy that many now. When I was buying the US mystery boxes, I sold most of them on Facebook. I probably only kept about 10-12 Ultrasabers out of something like 130 sabers, give or take. I mostly ordered so many to get some sabers for free and I sold most all of them so I could try to break even and keep a Frankensaber and maybe another saber for free. It gave me videos too. I didn't always break even. It was a lot of work trying to sell that many stunt sabers too. It was too hard to sell the sabers from that last Frankensaber. That and the lack of innovation is why I don't buy US anymore.

@@GreenTacos It really depends on what you want and what your budget is. If you are in the US, I highly recommend Crimson Dawn as a first saber. They are fast, if you order something in stock (mystery boxes always are in stock sabers with a little discount), have great customer service, and the LGT sabers really seem to have the most features for the money. Keep me updated!

The saber looks really good. More blueing would have been the icing on top. I'm really sorry you didn't get the right blade. That's a real bummer. I wish SF would make these kinds of slip ups. It happens more often than it should.
Yeah, I was really excited about the idea behind the screw in led blades. Unfortunately it looks like it was poorly executed, I really hope this v3 fix is an actual fix. I really love this hilt, hopefully the new blades fix the problems. Thanks for taking the time to watch, hope all is going well!
Wow, that really looks amazing. Saberforge is really doing themselves a disservice by not showing examples of what the powder coating options really look like.
