At this point, you can't tell me LoR isn't laying the foundation for the lore needed for a Riot MMO. I swear some of these concepts are mind blowing 🤯.
Yeah the world building in LoR is really impressive. Makes me have really high hopes for their MMO based on how they're handling these champions and the world of Runeterra in LoR.
The main thing i'm hoping for is that the MMO is a mix of warframe and Warcraft. It would be the best way to let champs (or classes I suppose) shine in their own ways.
@@arsontheaverage8821 We're not going to play as champs in the mmo, they'll appear as NPCs and bosses and stuff. The player characters are going to be just regular people in Runeterra, with the idea that the players as a whole are the "chosen ones" rather than all simultaneously being "the chosen one".
Im really hyped. Probably we wont see anything from it until 2024 or so.

Correction: Kai'sa was not born in the void, her village was swallowed by the Void when she was a kid. She still looks prettier than really makes sense, but she was not born in the void

I hope they had used Kai'sa old VA voice, the new voice just doesn't sound right..I reckon her new voice lacks emotions and the strong NZ accent is just... hard to accept. Her original voice was calm yet her emotions were well expressed and it's also pleasant to the ear.

Im liking these type of group archetype keywords(deep and evolve), hope they add more soon, maybe on a runeterra champion that'd be cool
At least it seems evolve can be built in more ways than one compared to deep, which I love to see
I think that the next Runeterra champion is eve since her followers art are all from different Régions in Runeterra. Maybe she will work well with those archetypes.
I just wish some of them got more versatility. One of my favorite aspects of LoR is mixing and matching regions to find fun new combinations, but that's a lot easier for some Champions than others. Like, until or unless we get more Lurkers in the game (and I'm not even totally sure what characters would fit that), Pyke and Rek'Sai are kind of exclusive to each other.

It's just when it's random. Kai'sa, Hive Herald and Void Abomination can have Scout if you play Scout Unit. You can even copy Deep or Lurk.
Sparkyfly + second skin .. 4/4 or 6/6 of you trigger the new keyword with Quick atack, Elusive* and lifesteal.
Void abomination looks like the new Arsenal, can't wait to build around it . This is either gonna be completely meta breaking or nobody gonna play it , nothing in-between 😅
abomination is more situational than Arsenal, but definetly a fun one.
Loved the work by the VA
I'm gonna pair her up with Demacia first and foremost. Easy access to keywords like Challenger, Formidable, and Scout to evolve quickly. In particular Petricite Broadwing and Valor are great targets for her second skin. Then her signature spell is easy access to Overwhelm to take advantage of the big stats Demacia units have.
Bad idea, formidable makes it so that if kaisa/followers ever block, they can are no longer useful offensively. Demacia doesn't get Regen easily without Garen.

I think it'll be pretty easy to get Void Abomination Scout, Quick Attack, Challenger, Overwhelm, Spellshield, Barrier, Lifesteal, and Tough. Those last two can come from Radiant Guardian, who can be enabled by using Blinding Assault and challenging something that will kill Valor.
I’ve played formidable after playing a leveled Zoe, it did grant the keyword to all units which can be a hinderance. Idk if they changed it since then to make it not a positive keyword, but just speaking from something I’ve witnessed
i feel like a 2 mana 3/1 spellshield is gonna be pretty damn good
top it with fact that in late game it's 2 mana 5/3
I mean, we have 3/1 for 1 mana right now, basically it's the same but with spellshield for 1 extra mana. Nothing too crazy.
@@AppleBaron spellshield is key, basically opponent can't use any ping to remove it. face-to-face combat is only way.

Vile feast is still a pretty good answer though. I think even if spell shield blocks the ping, they still get the 1/1 blocker.

I'll be honest, I was completely distracted the whole time by the new VA. I'm sure there were some good reasons they did it, sometimes practical things get in the way, but the execution is...lacking. I don't mean the VO is bad on its own, rather just a big contrast from her usual voice. Not only is it a different accent (south african vs NZ), but the tone is also different. Kai'Sa in LoL is way more "quiet", just listen to some of her lines on the LoL page, that probably shows the difference better than I can put it into words. It's not as bad as with Taliyah, who is almost a different person in LoR, just confusing for someone like me who very used to the LoL VO and the character it adds.
Gameplay wise, she seems quite strong, I'm a bit afraid of a Pantheon return along her side. We shall see.

Gwen and eve's VAs has been working with riot pretty recently, Gwen been in the ruination and eve's VA been voicing handle city expansion
Jhin VA has some scandals back in 2018-2019, he was sued for harassing women so yeah Riot cut ties with him. About Kai'Sa and Akali lately, I just don't know why, especially in Akali case her new voice is just bad.

I like to believe that the Voidling card is set up to have future uses and synergies with maybe future Void champs? Malzahar?
Also I predict Killer Instinct (Kai'Sa's ult) is gonna have somewhat of Irelia's Vanguard's Edge treatment. A.k.a. be added later in a patch after expansion and be Epic quality maybe, and be absolutely useless.

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE KAI'SA AND VIKTOR DECK
I really like Kaisa and the evolve keyword, evolve feels like deep only less restricting in terms of deck building cost. But here's some cool combinations I could find with Kaisa:
Pantheon/fated- the most obvious one since as seen in the video, Kaisa can proc fated very easily thus enabling Pantheon's level up a lot quicker. Also, Pantheon himself has 3 keywords which will progress Kaisa's level up by 3 stages, not to mention Supercharge (Kaisa's spell) is insane on Wounded Whiteflame, Pantheon and Kaisa.
Taric- Kaisa's spell will target allies thus it will proc Taric's level up, and if you put Supercharge on Taric he'll enable really great combo since your opponent can't deny it. Taric himself also gives tough which Kaisa can also copy even if she isn't the supported unit.
Shen- Shen is kinda similar to Taric but the fact he comes with barrier means he'll be easier to protect and he can also help protecting Kaisa a lot more easily. Not to mention Spirit's Refuge gives your unit two keywords (lifesteal and barrier) so it helps leveling up Kaisa and you can even use it pre combat phase in order for Kaisa to copy either barrier or lifesteal.
Another thing to mention about Shen is that his boat is really fucking good with the evolve units because it can give them double attack once they'll have barrier so you can potentially give Kaisa double attack as well with her spell, and if you happen to have overwhelm on said unit (which you can easily do with Supercharge) it'll be a game ender.
Riven- reforge can give you two keywords (quick attack and overwhelm) which will help with Kaisa's level up. Also, the hunter followers now make more sense because now you can use the fact they come with keywords (challenger) and grant it to Kaisa.
Viktor- Viktor comes with a keyword (augment) and add to that the fact he can generate a keyword each round really helps to level Kaisa very easily. Another thing to note is that all of the augment followers already come with up to 2 keywords (the 1 drop and the 3 drop elusive unit) so that helps speeding things up, and add to that the fact Kaisa creates a spell meaning it will proc both augment and Viktor's level up. This can also be used really well with Give it all which will be insane if you've hit the evolve requirement.
Overall Kaisa seems like a very flexible champion and I can't wait to test her out.

Braum might be excellent to pair with Kaisa. Braum himself gives 2 keywords for free, and the mighty poro isanother 1. Kaisa herself has quick attack, so with just 2 cards it’s 4/6 to fully evolving
you dont need regen on a quickattack unit.
If you want challangers, just play her with demacia

Im confused why did level up Kai'sa's ability not completely damage the enemy in front of her before going after the Nexus? I thought it goes for lowest health first. So wouldnt it go after the card she's atttacking before the Nexus?
I think the mechanism (as shown) is that the damage runs through every enemy including nexus, and it runs through again and again if there’s extra damage (more keywords than enemies). The focus on low health target is used during each loop to determine who gets hit first. For example, if you have 6 damage and 4 enemies (including nexus), the ability first pings every enemy 1, then pings the 2 lowest enemies 1 again (6 total damage)
My guess is that it cannot target the same target twice in a row.
I guess if it’s like her Q in LoL then it will spread among all targets evenly.

Evolve cards are going to be amazing for PvE Bard. Keywords galore with him. Kaisa supporting Bard would have a super easy time triggering Evolve and a feast of keywords to steal.

I'm personally not a fan of her new voice. It sounds too bright with the Aussie accent compared to Kai'sa 's old voice which sounded a little darker and more matured. It's subjective tho
I actually think quite the opposite. The old voice sound like she doesn't scare the void but rather be annoyed by it. This new voice sounds like she's angry and anxious about the void, even though she does sound more generic compared to the old one.

Supercharge will likely be nerfed. SpellShield and Overwhelm are both extremely good keywords on their own. Get them together at focus speed for 3? It's the apex finisher card.

@@xaviermm5506 That's not true. You can maindeck Ekko's and Zilean's champion spells WITHOUT maindecking Ekko and Zilean. The same will be true for Kai'Sa.
Feels busted and the champ spell is not interactive at all. Slowly becoming shadowverse.
I don't understand why fiora was nerfed for not being 'fun' but this champ spell is fine and supporting mono-shurima is cool because watching a 2 minute ad every match is very fun.
