I really enjoy this series, and this may be my favorite so far! Great informative video, David! I have always thought this set was easily one of the most beautiful sets of all time. Unfortunately, I have very few 50’s cards, and none from this set. Will have to change that one day. Great job, thanks!
Thanks, man! Yeah, these older sets have a lot more info available to make it a little more interesting. I only have a handful or two from the ‘50s. Great decade for cards tho!
I love this series. I have been looking at vintage here lately. Got 2 ted williams cards from the 59 fleer ted williams set. Im excited when you get to 1962 i love those Al and Nl leaders cards.
No way! Oh man, that's pretty cool -- I'll never NOT know that now, just because it's connected to this set's year. Haha -- I feel like 1956 was a good year all around!

I also own one card from this set #219 Lew Burdette
Nice! That's a cool subset to collect since you're related!
Very cool! I need to pick one of those up. Such a cool story how Fleer was trying to combat Topps by putting all their money on Teddy. Thanks, Josh!
@@DavidGonos yes, working on trying to get all his cards from his playing days.
@@DavidGonos its super neat set, and affordable for such a great player. Your review series is great keep it coming!
I love the 56 set.
It’s a classic for sure!
Think about the huge goddy numbers Teddy baseball would have if he didn’t go to war (in his prime)!!!!!
Oh man, you're not kidding. Thanks, stud!
I was born in 1956!

Too bad Frank and Brooks didn’t get a 56 rookie. Those 57s are just too bland for me.
You make a great point -- that could be a nice video -- The 11 Worst Looking Rookie Cards. haha!
