This is my reaction to the first single Aftermath of the upcoming album Servitude. This marks the return of The Black Dahlia Murder after the devastating passing of Trevor Strnad. I think this sounds 100% like them and I'm so glad they are keeping this great band alive and strong, enjoy and cheers \m/

It's a great song but people are forgetting that Brian has always done backing vocals so his voice will be somewhat familiar even if you don't realize it. imo cant wait for the album..

Man j'ai pas écouté depuis la mort de Trevor, je suis content de savoir qu'ils font de la nouvelle musique :) C'est vrai que les vocals sont similaires....mais ca top pas trevor evidemment. Jdonnerais un 6/10. Je sais pas y manquait un pti qquch pour moi

Yes le son demeure plutôt intègre, mais je suis d’accord qu’il manque un step pour rejoindre la meilleure qualité que le band nous a habitué. Je pense que cette chanson comme premier single c’était voulu savoir de quoi straightforward, rapide et agressif. J’espère qu’on aura l’occasion d’entendre Ellis et Knight s’exciter un peu plus. Je serais plus dans le 7,5/10 mais on se comprend, cheers bon week-end 🤘🏼
