I just lost my dog a month ago yesterday, so I definitely understand how that feels. For me, it felt like a piece of me was suddenly ripped away, leaving a giant void that nothing else has been able to fill. Hope you can get some much needed rest and time to heal!
Sorry to hear about Playdough, losing a dog is rough (excuse the pun), I’ve been through it a few times with family dogs, but never gets any easier. Now I have a dog of my own I can’t even imagine being without him.

I really liked this new Black Dahila Murder song. We all miss Trevor and he's a one of a kind vocalist who can't be replaced. However, Brian did a great job stepping in for vocals here.

I wanted to see the band live after that situation where no one was touring. You know what I mean by that hopefully. But then Trevor was gone before I got a chance to see them live. Now I have decided to make sure to support these dudes that went through a big loss and kept going. Been buying lots of merchandise and I will see them when they come through this area again.

I met Trevor twice and he was a super nice guy. The first time I met him at Ozzfest 2005 he walked up to me and started to talking to me which is something I'll never forget. As far as this new song goes I really enjoyed it and am happy that Brian is keeping the band going on and sticking to that same formula.
TBDM will always be in my heart...but their sound is soo formulaic at this point..
Still a great musicianship, still great musicians, not taking that away..obviously

I guess, but at least it's THEIR formula and not just riding the coattails of other bands. I respect TF out of the fact that they found their sound and have stuck with it. I could hear any TBDM song for the first time and know exactly who I'm listening to immediately.
Oh another thing I was lucky enough to see Trevor perform at least one when the band headlined the up from the sewer tour. 7 months later Trevor was gone.

Sorry for your loss, as a dog person who just recently lost one, it’s absolutely gut wrenching and I miss her every day, and will continue too. As for TBDM, Trevor’s passing was so sad and just tragic. Hearing this single this morning literally made me cry, Trevor 100% is smiling down on this , Brian does a killer job on this, and although It is impossible to replace trevor,I couldn’t ask for better. I’m now pumped for this, already preordered. Take care of yourself, one day at a time.🤟🤟👊🏻👊🏻
He was such a nice person. I didn't know him well at all, but the times I spoke to him he was always down to talk about video games and metal. He lives on through his music!🤘 It's just different having a new BDM record and Trevor not being apart of it. In saying that it's a good single and I'll buy the record. Stay Death!

Appreciate your thoughts, but why should or would they quit, especially if the dude does the job? Significant bands have moved on after key members passed. Of course it's different when the singer is gone, but AC/DC did ok I think... Looking forward to the new TBDM album!
It was just a perspective that I was saying if they were to quit after this I think that would make sense. I 100% am not telling them to or saying they will. As stated in the video.

The production reminds me of Ritual, which was one of my favorite sounds of theirs aside from Nocturnal. I loved Abysmal as an album, but to me that was easily the weakest as far as production even though they were going for that to give it a more raw sound as if they were playing a live show. I truly hope they continue on because I know damn well that's what Papa Trev would have wanted and Brian taking over on vocals was the absolute best decision they could have made. Along with bringing back Ryan Knight on guitar. Brandon is a fantastic guitarist, but I didn't like his writing style nearly as much as Ryan's. The last couple of albums while GOOD... just didn't feel quite right. I can't wait to hear the rest of this album.

The drums sound really loud to me. I wish the guitars cut more. maybe its me though
Sorry about your doggo. It's awful. Had to do the same earlier this year with my 16 year old dog and it sucked big time. It does get better with time, but it hurts, so hang in there.
Hey, I don't get a chance to see all of your videos but I'm glad I saw this one. We had to let our 13 y.o. chocolate lab go a couple of weeks before Christmas so I know how hard it can be to let a family member go. I'm so sorry to hear about yours. Please take care of yourself (which it sounds like you're going to be doing) and look forward to new videos when you return.

Just one thing I need to point out. Calling brian just an "og member of the band" is kind of an insult. Trevor and Brian built the black dahlia murder together. It was THEIR band

Yeah Brian and Trevor built the band together. Which means OG members. Not once did she say it was Trevor’s band. Also mentioned several times made sense he took over the vocals. Nitpicking shit that makes zero sense. Go circle jerk somewhere else.
The mix sounds like absolute garbage. Brian’s vocals aren’t nearly as strong as Trevor’s. However, it’s still a good song and I’m sure the album will be good too.
did you listen to it on RUclips? the sound on Yt and Yt .music is a bit muffed like the guitars are muffed
