Such a great list! Thank you for making these videos and all the content you post. It is greatly enjoyed. I completely agree with your #1 choice. Have you listened to Lunar Chamber Shambhallic Vibrations? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but it is definitely in my Top 5 of 2023.
I don't know how i missed this but members of Amenra, Oathbreaker and Carnation released a project this year called Predatory Void. Haven't heard anyone mention it.

Headsplit is sick! I have the Sewer Fiend / Plague Patrol split tape in my top 20. Good to see that Grotesqueries too! Very crushing and a real gem. Got the CD in my top 20 as well. Includes member from Black Mass which was really good blackened thrash band. Oooh Glorious Dead so good too. Classic 90s style DM. What a year of death metal. Love that you cover the underground stuff too not just the usual picks 🤘
