I'm 21 and have been procrastinating ever since I graduated high school, not trying to better my life, just working a low-wage job while smoking weed and playing video games. Your videos and mindset have seriously encouraged me to start changing my life. I stopped smoking a few months back and used the money that would have gone towards drugs to buy a road bike, and it has quite frankly done wonders for my mental (and physical health). I used to be shy and cared way too much about what other people think of me, but through you I've found to not give a shit about what people think and have started living for myself. Now I'm going to a trade school so I can at least make decent money to do what I want with my life. Thank you for your years of content creation. Ride fast and die last ✌️

It's just free up my mind. Mentally and physically. I feel damn fuckin great. Love every single your vids, your spirits, your passion. Take a good care, boss.
I've been stuck in a rut for what feels like my whole 20's. Turning 30 in Aug. Messages like this really do help. I really need to get comfortable with taking risks and moving forward.
Turning 30 on august 7, feels like still have 18. Stable job but will try to pursue something else. Great message on the video makes us be more carefull with the time wasted on things that doesnt truly satisfy us.
For years i was stuck in my comfort zone, I started watching your videos a couple years ago and I bought a bycicle. I went places I had never been before. Riding really aired up my mind. To go further and see new things, experience and learn to live life. I'm 36 years old now and I am following my passions. Thank you Lucas 👏🏻 Keep on riding 🤟🏻🇵🇹

the strange thing about grief is that it’s made me enjoy life more. seeing 5 relatives die in the span of 5 years made me flip completely and I now live a life full of only the things that I love. an even stranger thing is that when you’re enjoying your life, people notice you and come to you with their hands full of opportunities! i wish i could have acquired this lesson without all the sorrow that came with it, but i don’t think that’s possible...
"people notice you and come to you with their hands full of opportunities!" > When people stop doing this, you know you've gone astray and correct, but yes this is the most rewarding feeling ever
Hitting the nail on the head. It takes losing folks we know to put us in check and make us realize our time is always going to tick away. Appreciate you sharing man.
Thanks for the message, takes a special kind of confidence to get sentimental about life. I lost a best friend 4 years older than me when I was 24. Changed everything. Their grave is a type of place I didn't know even existed. A step away from the reality I'm so engrosed in. It's hard, people don't understand why I do the things I do now. I take risks like you because life seems too short not to. What is a long life, after all? One of many forgettable years or one of many memorable adventures.
'The only thing wasted on youth is youth itself.' It's a time that passes by so quickly that it is crucial to be as active as possible, cramming our time as a youth with diverse experiences + create as much value as humanly possible, not just for ourselves but others as well. This way we can live without regret. 'If we can't go further, go deeper.'
34 lost many young friends as well. Life can end any time, but I don't want to waste my nerves and time to be afraid of it. "In a world where death is the hunter, my friend, there is no time for regrets or doubts. There is only time for decisions." -Carlos Castaneda
Time marches on. Thanks for the message, I feel a lot of people can benefit. You get stuck in a comfortable place and never do exciting or even scary new things. Anxiety and excitement are one in the same, so understand it and channel your excitement into fuel and passion for life. Never settle for mediocrity, and all in all, do what you want.
At 58 years young I totally understand where you are coming from. There have been many funerals and many death bed visits for me. Seen a loved one struggling to take their last breaths is an awakening experience. Sure I have many things that I wish I could have accomplished, many trips not taken and many battles lost, but when I look back I see also many things accomplished, many amazing trips and many, many battles won. Raising a family, seen my kids grow up to be successful adults and having their own kids has been one of the most rewarding of all the experiences that I have. Thank you Lucas, your videos have always been very inspirational and rewarding.
I really needed to listening to this message today, right now, cause despite I always get out the comfort zone sometimes we procrastinate, that's the moment to keep pushing towards our dreams. At the beginning of the Pandemic I buried the most important person in my life and that changed me forever, made me realize all of this will gonna end one day and this perception makes you understand how important is to get up and to fight for your dreams.
It is sobering, coincidentally I just visited his grave yesterday, you can literally hear a voice telling you to go get it and live, strange dialogues with gravestones, never thought that'd be me
Man ive been struggling with this hard lately. Making changes for the better right now, including getting into cycling a few months ago to get healthier mentally and physically. Just found your channel a few weeks ago and i like it a lot!
Wise words. Everything you said is very obvious to anyone who stops and takes the time to think about it. Sadly, many people myself included do not do that. Its too easy to just get carried away with the flow of life and never take it into your own hands.
My best friend and ride buddy passed suddenly in April. We sent thousands of miles together over the last 30 years...life does not stop. Don't let it pass you by as stand still waiting for 'something' to happen.
It's funny, I turned 35 in the town I was born in(I left there when I was 3) and the perspective was amazing. After that I moved to a foreign country to live for awhile....I've always said yes and I have no real regrets! That was 7 yrs ago now. Thank you for sharing and thank you for riding, Fast. Much Love

Been a real eye opener for me this video! Broke my leg a week ago on my bike and I’ve been stuck in the house bot working or anything, but as soon as I’m back on my feet I’m going to embark on a journey down to France to try to get my summer back before I go back to university! I need to live whilst I have the time to do so!
It’s 6:00 pm in Miami, I’m 58 or so I’m told. Still feel like a kid. My bikes are a huge part of the reason. Getting ready to go for my ride. Great video as are all the other ones I’ve seen. ✌🏼
Here I am, spending the last hour considering changing my web browser from Brave to Vivaldi! LOL What an awesome place to ride with so little traffic. I don't ride on the road anymore because I have a young family, poor healthcare coverage, and knee trouble. I could watch you ride there for an hour on my tiny elliptical. I do get a rush watching you choose lines and turns, completely differently than I'd do, and that is why I watch. Ride on, peace out!
I don't have a father but many men have given me advice and I always try to help people in the ways I was helped this is something that comes natural and it's a beautiful thing
This is something we all needed to hear. I made a decision April 2020 to do this exact same message. No more procrastinating no more saying no to invitations. Thank you very much for making this video. I know this will impact many if u in a positive way.
Hi Am all the way here from Malaysia. Been riding since a kid to school and pleasure. Still riding in my twilight years. Seeing you ride makes me want to ride harder☺️
I really needed this message, especially that part about procrastination. Thanks for imparting your wisdom and reminding us just how lucky we are. Ride on!!!!
This is some very real shit, Lucas, and there's always a place for it. I'll be perfectly honest and say that there's something about your persona that has always unnerved me a bit, but I've always maintained tremendous RESPECT for what you do and the way you seem to live your life. I try not to judge others, as I've no idea what they've been through, and can only assume that they're dealing with their own demons in the best way they can, and with the tools that are available to them. I'm inspired by what you offer on this channel, and even though I could never duplicate what you do on a bike (nor do I aspire to), I find comfort in the fact that there's some out there like you, doing what you do. We all have our own path in life, and I'm grateful for the manner in which you share yours. I hope all of this makes sense, as I truly wish you only the best, and look forward to whatever you feel compelled to share with the rest of us in the future. This is a timely post of yours, as I've been faced with a recent death in my own family, and a world of immense change in front of me. With that being said, I think it's time for ride. Thanks for the continued motivation.
I know I can be intense with nervous energy, probably comes out in the film too, 100% determination though. Sorry for your loss, looking forward we are
Thanks Lucas. I'm a casual to your channel and don't condone some of the risk taking that could lead to innocent victims but totally advocate for the pursuit of a life lived to its fullest and appreciate you using audience clout to convey some wise, hard earned / learned universal truths. Stay safe, keep pedelling.
I am 38 years old and only this year I started thinking about it, more and more every day. I thought I would live forever. But unfortunately that is not the truth I have to face. Transience hurts a lot. Lucas, you are an incredibly intelligent man. And I'm glad there are more of us like that. Thanks for the video. It hurts but it’s an honest story!
It's sobering but I noticed how much SLOWER my life went by and how much longer my days were when I started doing what I love, and heck, you'll live much longer too, years

Thank you, Lucas. You're a damn fine human being and your legacy in the world of cycling will live on.
Thank you for taking the time to share your message it means a lot to me, Lucas. Most of my friends and family are dead in one way or another. I've found the only thing you're going to get out of life, make that the only way you're going to get out of life is as you are. Watch what you do and say, material possessions don't matter.
100%
Thank you Lucas.
thank you Maestro.
True words 🙌 respect
Tq Lucas & Keep Cycling Safely & doing the things that we Love will put a big smile on our faces everytime. Cycling have that effect. It's the fountain of youth.
Truer words never spoken
Thank you for giving me a better perspective about life, you're like the role model I never had in life. An uncle type that tells you straight up but knows how to have fun. Keep on moving!
Thank you, that means a LOT, L
live fast, ride fast, die last
I love this Lucas, thank you for the message. I've been thinking a lot about my future with turning 30 this year, so many things on my list I want to accomplish before the inevitable happens. Some awesome motivation here! "Live Fast, Ride Fast, Die Last."
Thanks for sharing this, Lucas.
A powerful message, as it is so genuine.
Yep - take this downtime to get ready to roll again, you'll need it
Lucas Brunelle I certainly will man thanks for replying! Gives me amazing motivation!!! Gonna start figuring out my bag set up for when I set off!
Thank you for doing this video, astute and wise words that can help us all see a little clearer, whichever way our paths wind.
LIVE FAST, RIDE FAST AND DIE LAST! Stay healthy and God bless u brother! Best regards from Indonesia
It’s 6:00 pm in Miami, I’m 58 or so I’m told. Still feel like a kid. My bikes are a huge part of the reason. Getting ready to go for my ride. Great video as are all the other ones I’ve seen. ✌🏼
I miss Miami a lot and will be back soon, ride like Hell, what a night.
Hellz yeah, will do, I know knees are tricky
I don't have a father but many men have given me advice
and I always try to help people in the ways I was helped
this is something that comes natural and it's a beautiful thing
This is something we all needed to hear. I made a decision April 2020 to do this exact same message. No more procrastinating no more saying no to invitations. Thank you very much for making this video. I know this will impact many if u in a positive way.
Thank you so much for your message!!
wow.....thanks Lucas
Hi
Am all the way here from Malaysia. Been riding since a kid to school and pleasure. Still riding in my twilight years. Seeing you ride makes me want to ride harder☺️
THIS is why I make films, thank you Azam
Thanks for this video. I turned 30 last year. Definitely living my life to the fullest. My aunt always tells me her favorite time was her 30s.
30s - OMFG - your aunt's right, do it up man
I really needed this message, especially that part about procrastination. Thanks for imparting your wisdom and reminding us just how lucky we are. Ride on!!!!
omg dude i would love to be up there it is too hot in DC... awesome video and message mate... I'm going to step up my game RIGHT NOW
Humidity and heat in the dmv is insane rn
THAT'S the SPIRIT
This is not the usual content you post but everyone can relate to the message you are pointing out. Great video Lucas. Thanks for sharing.
I know right, pretty dark, but now you know both sides
one of the best videos i have seen in a longtime. Thanks for sharing.
you are truly an inspiration
and also namesake!
Sorry for your loss, looking forward we are
Thanks for sharing your perspective. It hit home for me about a year ago and i made a huge change that has paid off immensely.
That's how it works - Congratulations John, L
really felt those last few words. Thank you, Lucas.
You got it, thanx and more to come, L
I am 38 years old and only this year I started thinking about it, more and more every day. I thought I would live forever. But unfortunately that is not the truth I have to face. Transience hurts a lot.
Lucas, you are an incredibly intelligent man. And I'm glad there are more of us like that. Thanks for the video. It hurts but it’s an honest story!
It's sobering but I noticed how much SLOWER my life went by and how much longer my days were when I started doing what I love, and heck, you'll live much longer too, years
Thanks Lucas, I'm only 17, I don't feel like i have done a lot. It's really hard but you're right. I'm gratefull to be alive and I'm taking any chance from now on
THAT'S the spirit
Ain't calling this dark truth, it's actually pretty positive to recognize what's what. Too many get stuck doing what they hate, ending up watching their lives go by. Many live like indoor cats, never challenging themselves. Ride on, Lucas, ride fast - die last, brother. Thanks for keep rocking that flag too.
Well it is sort of dark but it's all in how it's handled, "indoor cats" - very good way to describe most people unfortunately
Love you man✊🏼
Love the way you do it Man. Thanks again for sharing.
You bet
Thank u Lucas!!!!
great video Lucas thanks for sharing
An inspiration mate! Let's keep rolling as if it were the last day of our lives! 🤘🏽
