- Raging River is a developing trail system East of Seattle, Washington just off of exit 27 on Interstate 90. It consists of a long climbing trail that ascends Rattlesnake Mountain and three downhill lines at the end of the long descent. It is one of many projects undertaken by Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources to improve riding opportunities in the state of Washington.
Excellent video. Clear, precise, well developed, and delivered with a touch of fun.
Once this links up to Tiger via Easy Tiger it's gonna be EPIC!
Cool to see trail progress from across the world!
I'm crying while I'm watching this video. Because I live in Portland :(
There is an official trail head parking lot up the hill on the right, just below the Snoqualmie Point lot. It requires the Discover pass for parking. The riding trail starts just to the right of the toilets.
Thank you! I went ahead and added a card to the video with a link to a little addendum explaining just that.
Compared to most things, PDX's performance when it comes to trails is abysmal.
I can't wait to go check this out.
Where near Portland/Vancouver would a good long climbing trail go? I like the climb road/trail/road to thrillium....wish they would put in a single track climb from thrillium up to the towers....that road isn’t kind to my 200lbs
That's my gray Impreza in the parking lot. LOL.
Did Lollipop yesterday, yes the most EPIC!
Great video, let me know if you need a tour guide ;0
Great video and narration. Sub'd.
Thanks!
Don't we have our own climbing hell trail? Bell's Mountain...
Very nice! Can't wait to give this area a try. Side question- what rear fender is that?
Mudhuggers. My friends make fun of me, but I like it. Keeps my seat post clean. www.themudhugger.us.com/shop/
Sweet, thanks! They can laugh all they want while they're trying to figure out why their dropper won't work any more ;)
Totes! It does rattle a little bit on the downhill, so that takes some getting used to. Also, if you buy one get the longer one. A little mud still gets past the one I have.
The entrance for Invictus can be found to the right at 6:50 mark.
Thanks! I think I see it now. I just added a card to the video to point it out.
Had a blast digging No Service w/ EMBA, thanks Dale!
